Booked this hotel last minute. Booking was easy. When we arrived, we were shown our room and allowed to relax prior to officially checking in. The room was clean and well decorated. Beautiful gardens. Breakfast was basic, but enjoyable.

From the minute the owner greets you at the door, you know you picked the right place. We had a very spacious room. Perhaps the most comfortable beds and pillows we slept in, in all of Peru. If anything the 3 of us would have been fine in a regular room with 2 doubles as we did not even use... More

I had a lovely time at Lizzy Wasi. The staff are all warm and welcoming, and Lizzy would do absolutely anything to make your stay a pleasurable one. High quality buildings and fittings, nice breakfast and the dinners are healthy, tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I stayed for several days at Lizzy Wasi in October (with several other colleagues). It was a wonderful experience! Liz was amazing - she met me at the door by name, and checked with me several days in a row to make sure I had everything I needed. It was beautiful, and the staff were excellent. A jewel in the... I stayed for five weeks at Lizzy Wasi and loved every moment of my stay. Liz is a wonderful host and goes the extra mile to make sure you feel at home. She strives hard to make your stay comfortable. All of the household staff are equally as hardworking and genuinely work at making your feel "part of the Lizzy... More

Me and a bunch of other colleagues stayed at Lizzy Wasi for 6 weeks between September and October of 2016. Lizzy treated us like family, the food, accommodation and location was excellent, and there was just nothing we asked for that wasn't solved within an hour or two of asking. If you are going by Urubamba, please make sure you... More

Even BEFORE our trip to Peru, Liz helped me so much in planning our honeymoon trip. I think I emailed her 20 times and she was happy to help every single time. She gave me tons of advice and also got us a car from the airport to her hotel to drop off our large bags and then on to... More

My room was upstairs in the main building. The double bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There is no kettle or free water which is a necessity. The single dining chair is uncomfortable to sit on. There is a large gap between the bottom of the door and the floor so it can be chilly at night. There... More

Lizzy Wasi is an amazing hotel at a great price. Views are fantastic and Lizzy really takes great care of you, from calling taxis, making diner reservation, and providing tour advice. The hidden jewel of Urubamba!!!
