Royal Inka Pisac is one of the wonders of the Sacred Valley. Built in the sixteenth century, was the farmhouse of the Figueroa family, which also built at that time the chapel of the Virgen del Carmen, giving Cultural Religious value to our property , retaining the original buildings in different wings of our hotel. The legacy left by the Incas in Pisac, is worthy of admiration in all its glory. Pisac is one of the three strategic points that the Incas left us, all of them aligned to the South .. These monumental ruins creating an atmosphere of peace that leads to meditation and tranquility. The Royal Inka Pisac is only 35 minutes from the city of Cusco. Our hotel Royal Inka Pisac, has a private club to which passengers can enter and enjoy our indoor pool, tennis courts, racquetball, soccer, volleyball, bungalows, restaurant, trout farm, basketball, and also can enjoy our Champion Soccer Team Sub Sub 13 , sponsored by Mr. Efrain Aller.

First thing you should know is that this hotel is about a 13 minute walk to central Pisac. The facility is a resort (sort of) that has tennis, spa, pools and other facilities that I did not use. There are parts of the hotel that are very old as this was a colonial hacienda. The rest of the hotel is a sort of rambling assembly of new hotel wings. My room was quite basic, but did the job. Good heat if you need it, the water is hot and runs freely, and the breakfast was good. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and do not mind walking or taking a tuk-tuk into town. Service was excellent and everyone who works at the hotel is professional and friendly.

We stayed at the Royal Inka for one night with two couples. Pisaq was the low point of our trip to Machu Picchu, and this hotel didnt help.
Basically, the hotel is stuck in time, everything looks like it was last touched 20 years ago, so not bad just somewhat old fashioned. The service at check in was OK but far from the usual friendliness we experienced everywhere else on the trip. The hotel is more like a resort with playing area etc. During our stay there was a group of teenagers also spending time there which didnt help with getting sleep at night. The rooms are simple but clean and ok for the price. However, we did not have any water in the morning which took 20 minutes to be fixed (for me a decent time to get things done). The breakfast was plain out awful, they served rice, meat with pepper and some local bread and one kind of white cheese. The coffee/ tea was ok at most. The service in the restaurant at night was also rather decent. I had to ask for drinks more than once at 2 occasions which was unusual considering the experiences we had before (and after) in any kind of place.
The wifi was shabby, considering the overall bad wifi situation in the sacred valley, it was on the lower end.
Overall the hotel needs some updates and the staff could improve on service and friendliness. It was not a bad experience but just not up to standard when looking back at the whole trip (5 different hotels and numerous restaurants).

I have mixed feelings about this place. If everything was as beautiful as the lobby and dining room, this place would be perfect. The rooms are spacious and clean and the view on the mountains and corn fields is stunning. It’s quiet and relaxing and they really put a lot of effort in providing entertainment in a small town that has absolutely nothing except probably the nicest ruins in the Cusco area (better than Machu Pichu). There’s a huge swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, seesaws, a cinema (really), soccer field, basketball field, etc… The service is way better than what you would expect in a place with this price range. The staff is very friendly and has a level of professionalism that you only normally find in 5 star hotels (in Peru).

But this place has the typical Peruvian sloppiness that at times is very endearing and at others really annoying. There’s a whole bunch of little details that make this place less than perfect when it has the potential for it. When you go to the restaurant, they surprise you with an exquisite entrée but then mess it up with a basic main dish that barely manages to satiate your hunger. The rooms are nice and clean but then you lie down on your bed and see these disgusting yellow stains on the ceiling. The gardens look very nice from afar and start looking like a jungle as you get closer. The whole playground area is really cramped and poorly maintained. The wooden bridge is busted, the basketball nets are torn, the seesaws are built on a concrete instead of grass (don’t complain if your kid breaks and arm after a fall), the swimming pool is designed for people that don’t know how to swim (5 feet/1m40 deep), etc… In short, there are many little issues with the maintenance of this place.

This place is very nice but could be better with maintenance. It is however expensive for a hotel of its category. The beverages are the worst offender. Unless you want to pay twice the normal price for your beer, three times the normal price for your water, and four times the normal price for your Coca Cola, bring your own drinks! A glass of coke literally is over a dollar.

I really like visiting for the spa and jacuzzi, but TWICE now I have had a man walk into the women’s changing rooms while I’m there. This is a serious security and privacy issue, and when I spoke to staff members they gave an excuse for the men to do what they do because they were looking for their wives. Men do not need to enter the women’s change rooms under any circumstance. I wrote an email to the hotel in regards to this issue and no response. I do not feel safe entering this facility anymore.

Disappointed. I went with my family and my little baby, My room was in the middle of a school trip, 20 child at least , so all the kids made noise with screams and plays at night. The breakfast is not the best, but lunch dishes are better. Jacuzzi, spa and massage weren t working. People who work at the hotel were very kind and proactive. They helped us keeping our baby milk and give us a baby crip. Room design are poor because is dark with white light, bathroom has a big fan to get out the air and is noisy.

Came to this hotel with high hopes for reviews and YouTube videos. Was completely and utterly disappointed by the service and staff. Room was dirty and included no amenities. Lunch was also disappointing and overpriced. When I decided to go to the pool I had the surprise of freezing water and no service personal anywhere to be found.

Acorrding to the guidebooks this place is a real treat for campers, with hot showers, a pool and free wifi.

Simply not the case. We arrived, checked in and paid the most we have paid for a camp site since the U.S. Asked about showers and bathrooms and were told the showers are hot 24 hours a day and there are clean bathrooms to use.

Anyone that has traveled in Latin America will know that paper goes in the basket not the toilet, well it would appear that the bathrooms had not been cleaned in months as all 4 stalls in both ladies and mens were overflowing with used TP. They did not clean the bathroom until the next morning when we complained for the second time.

The showers we were told would be warm in the morning, after 3 hours they were still freezing cold. The manager then told us that for $30 US a night we were simply not entitled to hot water as the camping costs were so cheap.

Would I recommend this place to any other camper? A resounding NO

We spent 19 days in Peru and stayed in around 7 hotels all of which were lovely except the Royal Inka hotel in Pisac! The hotel looks beautiful as you drive in but the room was very disappointing and the staff left a lot to be desired. We spent the first 5 minutes in our room swatting bugs and flys - once that was done the room was adequate but that's all. Things got worse at breakfast when the lacklustre staff told us they weren't making breakfast because it was only us in the hotel! Charming! The small breakfast we did get was stale and boring. We stayed for two nights and that was more than enough - I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Save your money and time, there are much better hotels in Pisac and the female manager is rude, elite, treats staff terrible and should be fired. The hotel is run down and while they advertise many amenities, they are only available when there are many guests (which is rare) and everything is for an expensive extra charge. They lost our reservation so when we arrived late to check in after hiking Machupicchu, we had to wait hours even though I asked to just pay cash and figure out the booking in the morning. They advertise hot water but it takes an hour to heat up. It is way overpriced given the rooms are dated, very basic, dark and no WiFi in the rooms! The food is terrible and two of my kids three up daily. There were ants everywhere in the room and I was told “they aren’t dangerous”, wow. It gets worse!! My kids accidentally packed a pillow and some towel and the crazy manager lady accused us of stealing even though we searched the bags, found it and returned it. Even then the crazy lady threatened to call the police and make us stay (and miss our flight) all the while my young kids are apologizing for the mistake and crying. There are so many wonderful people in Peru and it is so sad that this women could run a place like this. I’m going to report her but who knows how long she will last so be careful!

This place classes its self as a 5 star hotel ,i would not give it 1 star, the noise is horrendous they have a dog thats roams around the grounds howling all night none stop, when you complain they just say thats what dogs do. whats all that about, then across the road they have all theses facilities swimming pool football volleyball tennis play area ect, which the locals can use for a small fee none stop music blasting out , then at night they allow the locals to use the grounds for BqBs and drinking all night yet again music blasting out till all hours , then they have school parties coming to use the facilities and camping 2/3nights in the grounds yet again music and noise from them all night, and to top it of they have weddinngs and parties in the venue , and yet again music and drunkenness til 5/6am the following mornings, and they have the cheek to charge $50+ a night, the place is a disgrace, and dont even bother complaining because it just falls on deaf ears
