I went there with my high school trip to Peru. Since Peru doesn't have the same hotel legal requirements as America does, I was not expecting much - but compared to the other places we stayed this was trash. 1. The bathroom was unclean and literally sticky and covered in pee, and the hot water did not work and was... More

We stayed here for one night ahead of starting the Inca Trail trek - so the hotel was booked for us rather than chosen by us. Hotel was fairly basic, clean and the bed was comfortable. The night I was there it was quite noisy in the surrounding area to the hotel which was not ideal but may well have... More

I visited the lodge with a group. The rooms are standard for Peru and clean, with a hot shower. Better than a hostel but simple. My bed was good to sleep in, not too cold considering winter time and missing heating all over Peru (in most places you get an electrical heater if you ask). Breakfast was a buffet that... More

I stayed here due to tour company booking. The location is reasonably close to the town square where there are several restaurants. However it is also close to an informal local establishment where a large party was being held- then when the noise from this stopped the hotel dog, which was locked into what seems to be their junk yard,... than it was... it is "close" to the town center but still a 15 minute walk on a busy street. The rooms were clean, showers good, wifi terrible but available. The grounds look excellent in online pictures. They are OK/good. The restaraunt food was poor (not a lot of great options anywhere in Ollantaytambo really). The staff was available but... More

Being with a budget tour group - that, in itself, was an experience - I had absolutely no contact with the front desk. The hotel is exactly what it says it is, a "lodge." No problems there but my room was small enough. Sharing made it worse. Easily the worst night's sleep I had in Peru. My bed, I'm positive,... More

This was a surprise hit for our group. Our travel agent booked us into it when our first 2 picks were not available. Our agent was apologetic and did not think the lodge would be very good. It's true that the rooms are pretty basic, and there was some mold/mildew in the bathrooms, but apart from that it was simply... More

The grounds for the lodge are well kept and clean. You are nestled in between the mountains which makes for some really nice views. The rooms are clean and comfortable. You are only a short walk to the main plaza in town where you can grab a bite to eat or get something you need at the pharmacy.

The facilities are clean and comfortable. This place is great because you are surrounded by the beautiful mountain scenery. The lodge is located about 5 minutes walk to the centre and has a nice court area. At night I could see some great constellations from my room. The staff were helpful and the wifi worked even though a lot of... More

This is a simple lodge, with a pretty setting, and not a far walk from the main plaza. The service was disorganized at check-in and the following morning as well, but we were also a small group of four surrounded by a large tourist group that pretty much took up all of the staff's attention. The rooms were clean, beds... More
