Me and my wife arrived in this lovely compact town in the afternoon. Not far from we got off the bus, SAUCE hostal owns the idea site where you get easy access and uninterrupted view of rooms. Neither of us speak Spanish at all, but Pablo's warm welcome and body language has make things a lot easier which don't really...

We stayed here for 2 nights during our trip to Peru this January. I was surprised by our rooms: big windows facing the ruins, spacious, clean and confortable. This is a small, nice and cozy hotel. Breakfast is simple, with little options, but ok. I would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

After staying at a very average place in Aguas Calientes, my wife and I were really charmed by Hostal Sauce. Extremely pleasant and interesting owner and other staff equally welcoming. Hotel is spotless with a charming dining room/lounge decorated with various Peruvian woolen hats. Our breakfast was perfect: lovely local fruit, jam and fresh bread rolls. One slight annoyance: the...

We stayed only one night at Hostal Sauce on our return from Machu Picchu, but could imagine staying in Ollay for several nights. The common room downstairs has a fireplace, our room had a view of the ruins, and we enjoyed our chat with the owner of the hotel. The breakfast was delightful as well.

This was my second stay, and my wife's first and she Loved it. Chela and her staff are awesome, breakfast is great, with great fruits, eggs, and fresh baked muffins. Plenty of hot water, very clean and 15 minute walk to the train.

Yes, clean and well located... however, when you pay $100/night you are expecting something else...The receptionist took 5 minutes to greet us when we arrived, she was on the phone and wouldn't put the phone call on hold for a minute to welcome us. Not a very nice first impression, plus rooms are not bright enough. Yes to hot water...

We stayed in the Sauce Hostal on our way to Machu Picchu and enjoyed the cleanliness and friendliness of the facility. Rooms were basic but we spent very little time in them so who cares. It is close to the activity of the city center and also just a short walk away from the Fortress of Ollantaytambo. Breakfast was supplied...

This was organized by Adios Adventure Tours and it was such a pleasant surprise. Myself and my elderly mother stayed on a 2nd or 3rd floor room. The view wasn't much from the side windows and the room very basic, but the best hot shower I had in weeks. The restaurant downstairs was so good and had so many specials...

The Sauce is located on the Main Street of Ollantaytambo but you would never know it: Rooms are quiet and well-insultated, the folks working there are eager to make you feel at home and the main lounge has a fireplace that is lit up in the evenings providing an atmosphere that invites you to grab a book or bottle of...

This hotel had a great location, right near the heart of Ollantaytambo. Perhaps the best part of this hotel was the amazing views of the ruins. Half of the rooms have a view directly of the Ollantaytambo fortress. The rooms were pretty standard, equipped with extra blankets in the winter. Trust me, you’ll need them! The only drawback of the...
