I stayed here the night before heading to the Inka Trek. Just a small doorway in an alley way, but when you go through the entrance you are greeted by gardens and a homey atmosphere. The rooms are basic, but comfortable, and the setting is wonderful. The staff were all so friendly, and th breakfast was good, eggs included. A...

This wasn't my first choice in Ollantaytambo but i enjoyed a great stay here. Lovely garden and grounds, good breakfast and helpful staff. Rooms are quite basic but clean enough - just be sure to request a groundfloor room to ensure you get a hot shower and good water pressure! We booked a private tour (by "van") for 4 of...

We stopped in Ollantaytambo en route from Machu Picchu. In fact, Olly is an interesting town in its own right and Samanapaq is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating - they arranged our guide and cab to Pisaq, also a tour of the remarkable local ruins - and the hotel amenities are excellent: beautiful...

What to say about this hotel? You won't find a nicer place at any price. The owner lives on site, and it shows. Absolutely breathtaking mountain views. Meticulously maintained gardens, hammocks, hummingbirds. 9.8 on a 10 scale, and I'm picky! Would be 10/10 if not for the busy street outside the gate (outside of their control, but be careful on...

We enjoyed together with friends our stay at Samanaq. There is no better location than Samanapaq to visit al the historic sites in Ollantaytambo. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is excellent. I really recommend this hotel.

We arrived late with our rented car, the town is a bit "neglected" with narrow streets with trucks and buses crossing it, and then we entered the Samanapaq which is a big closed compound in the middle of this noisy town. The place looks excellent, with gardens, public areas and so on which is great after the first shock of...

Unfortunately we only had one night here. I would have liked to stay longer. The gardens were beautiful and the hotel clean and comfortable. Ollantaytambo is interesting too especially the old town and the ruins

We stayed here 2 nights and really enjoyed Ollantaytambo and this hotel. It was clean and comfortable with hot water and Internet in the common areas. The common areas are large and comfortable. Ollanta was an interesting town with good ruins. There were excellent restaurants in town as well. The owner and staff of this Hotel could not have been...

The hotel is next to two busy streets with tourist buses, but you don't hear the noise in the hotel. It has a big garden, common rooms with a chimney, free WiFi. The atmosphere inside this area is great. It was a very comfortable stay for us. The rooms had the perfect size and the bathroom were clean. The view to...
