We just had a bad run on our two day stay in Lima (even the Starbucks coffee machine broke!). We took up the hostel's offer to organize an airport transfer but no one was there to meet us when we arrived just before midnight. I called the hostel but the guy hung up when he realised that I don't speak...

We did not enjoy staying in this hostel at all. It's expensive, dirty and noisy. One of the pillows in our room literally had a hole right through the middle of it - it begs the question how could the bed have been remade and this not been noticed? In spite of pre-booking by phone, there was somebody in our...

Cute slogan, let me apologize to my staff for not giving the room when we understand their discomfort and demonstrated his comment a bit exaggerated, but just as respectable, answering some statements, pc could never run out of room for politics if our surprise we block other common private rooms with shared bath or private, to meet the reserve, you...

First time ever in Lima, and I could not have chosen a better place to stay. The neighborhood where the hostel is located is simply awesome, bars, pubs and restaurants are very, very close. You can literally be on the beach in about 15 minutes by foot. Service is extremely awesome, very nice people...they actually make you feel at home....

I stayed at Kaminu with a group of teenagers before we went to the mountains to work in an orphanage. We stayed in the 10-person dorm and found it very comfortable. It was clean and cheerful, with warm colorful wool blankets on the bunks. The location is perfect, on a pedestrian street that leads down to the ocean past many...

I just came from a month vacation in Peru. When I arrived to Lima I had decided not to make hotel reservation in any of the places I wanted to go just because I wanted to see in person where I was going to spend the night. At first I was skeptic about the idea of sharing rooms in hostels...

I had originally booked w/ Inka Hostel but after reading "Tripadvisor" reviews, I ended up switching to Kaminu. The owner seemed so ultra cool, we emailed back and forth. I explained that we were a backpacking family and wanted to reserve the smaller room (w/ six bunk beds). He reassured me that everything would be fine. Then we arrived...the cab...

Do it!! We have security cameras to ensure safety of guests and employees, but we can not place them inside the rooms or bathrooms, but in the areas we can ensure that there comunes. No sex in the dorm, we have no report of its part-time. We have reports of some noise from the guests which we regret and was controlled...
