This characterful little oasis from the hustle and bustle of Lima is in a quiet street in beachside Miraflores. Australians, think St Kilda district in Melbourne. The decor is really interesting - a pastiche of Spanish colonial overlaid with a modern artistic sensibility. Our room was clean, and the facilities adequate. There was a slight musty smell but you have...

Our family of 10 stayed here for two nights in March. We found it to be clean and the rooms were roomy. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our included breakfast was fine , and a purchased supper at the bar was very nice. We weren't bothered by noise.

The Antigua is a fairly small hotel with lots of atmosphere. It is full of antique items and interestingly recycled items (many of the tables in the restaurant were the bases of treddle sewing machines). The staff were very helpful and the location is good, just a short walk to the cliff tops of Miraflores. The hotel has air conditioning...

The young ladies at the front desk were helpful and friendly. The included breakfast, beds and shower were all good enough, three star level. After that it was downhill. The electricity went out for hours in the middlet of the night, the bar and restaurant were outrageously overpriced. The window lock, hook behind the door and TV were broken. The...

Stayed at this hotel which was booked through Gate 1. Quaint hotel with nice rooms. Had a nice breakfast available every morning. Staff was very helpful. This is not your typical hotel. If you want to get a feel for Lima, Peru this is a great placed to stay. Avoid the typical tourist hotels and relax.

The Hotel is small and "Old" ....antique!, Surprisingly quiet even though it is near a noisy street, Good Pisco Drinks and amicable staff.Very close to Lima's best artisans market in Miraflores and a great Coffee shop just a half block away

We spent three nights at the Hotel Antiqua Miraflores. The building has old charm and character and is conveniently located. However, it is old. The carpets, hallways are smelly and dingy. The fan in our room was literally wobbling and threatening to come down. The bathroom faucets, toilets all needed repair. Most disgusting: they ask travelers to not put toilet...

The carpet in the entire place was dirty and stinky. The furnishings were antiques (thus, the name of the hotel) and were very nice and creative use of old items -- very nice furnishings. The a/c in the room was weak, but sufficient. I mentioned to the staff that the filth in the carpet was making the place stink, and...

My Machu Picchu tour group stayed here for three nights in March. Loved it. The first and second night I had a room on the top floor overlooking a semi- courtyard. The last night I was in a huge room with kitchenette overlooking a central gorgeous courtyard. Though older, the furnishings were adequate, the lobby, breakfasts, and art quirky and...
