Just two night stay as we were catching a flight to Jaen. Close to the airport and 2 blocks from San Miguel shopping mall. Get a room in the back as the main avenue is very busy and noisy. Breakfast was basic, but adequate. The room, and the hotel in general, is overdue for some upgrades and improvements, but is...

It was only one night stay! Good thing it was! Convenience of being close to airport! But expect a tiny room without circulating air! No shampoo in bathroom, just a small soap, so be prepared to wash your hair with a tiny soap or bring some along! Good breakfast!

For a middle class area of Lima in the San Miguel district it is a nice hotel. For a mission trip it is a great place to stay. I never felt scared or anything but it is not a Holiday Inn or a Merritt. Our room had 2 very firm twin beds. Very small shower (like an RV camper) bring...

Our first day we got here at 7am having been flying for over 24 hours and was so tired, we managed to get a few precious hours sleep, even though there is a building site next door, which is working from 7 am to 7pm with one hour stop at lunchtime. Lima is very noisy, busy and very much an...

We liked our stay at Hotel Melodia. Having glanced through some previous reviews I have the following observations; Re vicinity to airport: Any closer and you would have been out on a limb with no venues (decent shops, restraints etc) within walking distance. A better area is Mirorflores but it's so much further away from the airport that it becomes...

I'd avoid this hotel if possible. Gave off a sleazy vibe from the moment you walked in the door. It's quite a ride from the airport, has very outdated rooms and is on a major street in the middle of a shopping area. Definitely not worth the price.

Although the location of this hotel is not that bad (just a short walk from two malls, and a 10-15 ride from the airport), the price is not worth it. It is located right on a busy street, so a lot of noise and during the hot summer months in Lima, the small fan does not quite do the job...

Stayed here for 7 hrs because my flight got cancelled due to hurricane and the airport hotel costa de sol was full and this is the closest available option. Got a room for 52 USD. thought it was a little pricey but I needed my sleep badly. One of the tiniest room I got for 50 bucks... Bed was ok,...

I have been going to this hotel for 5 years now. Appoximately 5 times per year I travel through Lima. The hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport, and all the taxis know how to get there if you just say "San Miguel, Av. La Marina, Hotel Melodia." The hotel staff and owners treat me an other guests like...

“The hotel is in downtown San Miguel, Lima. This is near a shopping mall. It is good for convienence. However, that does make it to where you hear street noise at times. Really, this is just the way things are in the area. Ask for a room facing the back if you are sensitive to car noise.”
