I was not able to read Tripadvisor reviews. I relied on booking.com reviews but some rated the hotel good only because they stayed there for one night. How could they miss the bathrooms and the smell? I chose the Miraflores Hotel because we wanted to stay in the Miraflores section of Lima. We booked for 4 nights. When we arrived...

Mouldy musty bathroom, smell lingers in the room even when windows opened. I'm sure this isn't good for you. Building work currently taking place at property which we weren't notified! Very loud and lots of banging from 9am. Room big with three double beds, great location but cleanliness in bathroom is dreadful, covered in mould and damp feeling throughout room...

The exterior promises a quaint, pleasant and comfortable stay. It boasts three starts proudly displayed above the door, but those must have been awarded a long time ago. The bones of this hotel are excellent. Beautiful Spanish colonial style, nice court yard inside, big common rooms and a lovely common terrace facing the street. Unfortunately, it has been badly neglected....

Considering the great location, the price can't be beat. Other than that, you get what you pay for. We stayed in a triple room over three nights. The beds were fine, but the bathroom was very moldy, with the door that could not be closed. Not locked--it couldn't be closed. No matter how hard you try, the for would stay...

Miraflores used to be full of these charming 1920s structures, many of them Art Deco and Spanish Colonial Revival and then the 80s struck. So there are giant anonymous towers among the older houses as well as some contemporary sophisticated buildings. It's among this mixed bag that this little hotel is located. Easy walk to Mallecon, shopping, restaurants. Rooms are...

Property is a nice, old colonial home in a great location. Spartan decor but everything immaculately clean. Quiet. Good hard bed. Nice shower. GREAT towels! TV and refrigerator. Very large breakfast. Will stay there again!

Lima is a city of many highlights - culture, nightlife, & great food to name a few. Our hotel was in a convenient location & very secure. Their patio & brunch added to the ambiance. Saw the Plaza Mayor, Larco Museum, beaches in Miraflores, & tried all the local fare including ceviche, Pisco sours, and specialty desserts.

I stayed at the hotel for a week and every day the staff was so nice. I arrived late from my plane, almost 9pm. The desk attendant made the check-in process easy, and it helps they spoke English as well as Spanish. The hotel is in the Miraflores district, there is always going to be a little noise from the...

Friendly & helpful staff. Nice & safe location. Very good breakfast. Quiet neighbourhood except for intermittent street noise. Easy access to Larcoma (shopping) & Kennedy Square (tour buses). Decent restaurants of various cuisines nearby. Safety deposit box in room. Clean room & bathroom. Concierge was helpful in printing boarding passes & in carrying bags to/from our 2nd floor room. Stored...
