Fairly standard budget hotel a short walk to the ocean, where you can go for a pleasant walk to help acclimatize for jet lag. Wouldn’t want to linger here but it did the job. Rooms pretty standard, plenty of hot water, comfy bed, good WiFi in reception. Great breakfast.

We stayed here at the start and end of our tour of Peru (for 4 nights in total). The first time we were in an extremely small room, and as we were travelling in a group, we saw other peoples rooms, so knew that ours was the smallest. Bathrooms were good, and beds really comfy.

Hello, We are planning on staying at this hotel by the end of July. Can you please let me know how to get from this hotel to the Lima District areas? What is the best way to get to this hotel from the airport? What the weather is like in July? Thanks so much in advance.
we had a travel agency arrange our transfers. Anywhere Peru. However we did see guests take an airport shuttle bus, contact the hotel and they can give you details. not sure of the weather, we have only been there in March. The hotel can answer local transport questions as well. I heard that this is one of the nice districts to stay at, lots to do in and around the hotel.

We are booked into El Tambo 2 is there any difference between 1 & 2 ?
I stayed at 1. It's closer to the waterfront I believe but both are within walking distance. It's in a very safe neighborhood - the rooms are ok, no A/C and no screens on the Windows so the evenings can get stuffy
