Stayed at miraflores house for just one night. Francis is very helpful and friendly. He is always glad to help with anything you need. The hostel is only a ten minute walk from the centre and only a couple of minutes from the beach. The room was clean and the beds are comfortable. We had a double room and it...

This is a great hostel in Mira Flores. Francis is very nice and helpful and a lovely host. The location is excellent - plenty of food close by, supermarket 10 mins walk, beach 15 mins walk and Larcomar 30 mins walk (large shopping centre on the water). The hostel is very safe and quiet. The included breakfast is good too....

We really liked Miraflores House, and like all the best places to stay in Peru, it was the owner who made it special. Francis was really helpful, providing a map and letting us in when we arrived really late! The room was fine too, with a comfy bed and a hot, powerful shower.

Francis is the BEST! He is so welcoming and helpful! He gave me so much information on what to do locally, how to get around, how to not get ripped off by everyone. It's a really secure hostel very safe feel to it. Very comfy beds AND hot and powerful showers which is virtually impossible to find in South America...

We can't say enough good things about Francis! He gave us incredible maps of Miraflores and downtown Lima. He told us all the best restaurants, called us cabs and helped us with our luggage for the airport. We had an air filter in our room and plenty of hot water. The wifi signal was great, even in our room. It...

We (a couple) visited Miraflores House in September 2015 and we really enjoyed our stay. The location in Miraflores is very central and also near to buses connections. The room was comfortable with WiFi and there was always hot water. Breakfast was not something special. The host is very kind and speaks perfect English. He can inform you about Lima...

We stayed here 3 nights in 2012 - excellent spot close to the center. Just a walking distance from the seaside and Miraflores down town. Safe location. The rooms are spacious - though it can be a bit warm sometimes. The owner is a great lad , friendly and helpful. There is free breakfast, and internet connection. I really recommend...

We stayed here twice during our Peru travels. The first night, our flight was extremely delayed and we didn't arrive until 2:30am. Francis greeted us warmly and gave us a wonderful welcome, despite the late hour! Francis then hospitably kept our bags the last day we stayed until our cab picked us up for our red eye. The hostel is...

Background: we ended up staying here by accident! Our bus dropped us here at 12am and with no signage we weren't aware that we were at the wrong hostel (there was more to this story - it wasn't simply a case of us being completely stupid!). Cue an awkward confrontation over booking/costs with the owner from 2 tired backpackers (that...

Francis' main initiative is to make his guests feel like they are at home. He cultivates a friendly environment with a great staff. Everyone is extremely helpful. Francis shares his vast knowledge of the city, providing a color-coded map with everything you need to know including events, food, transportation costs and dangerous areas. The staff would call us cabs and...
