What an odd place. Very heavily fortified, this place was dark, dusty and a bit strange. Fine if you are a lonely backpacker but not for a family! Greeted by the owner (?) who was scantily clad in next to nothing over a balcony like Lord of the manor and his staff who forgot to remind us about breakfast which...

I understand the world is change a lot, the people are ungrateful guest don´t charge a room for a 4 people just a double (2 people) because coming with a two nice children could be charge a 4 people and you bit my hand when I made a big discount, the rooms are dark people can sleep and old but...

Stayed here for a few nights and the manager Francis was an absolute delight, very warm and friendly. Rooms were relatively clean and fresh towels every day was very welcome. My main issue was the location. It was a good 10/15 minute walk to the main part of Miraflores where most the other hostels/bars were so for my personal type...

Owned very friendly and helpful - spent lots of time recommending restaurants and things to do, taxis etc. Breakfast included was basic but tasty. Facilities available to cook if you wanted. Rooms not well lit but clean and the beds were basic but comfortable and shower was hot. Felt fairly expensive for what you get but I think this was...

However they didn't receive our booking and the hostal manager was sleeping when we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms! Hostal manager Francis is a warm hearted burgundian and helped us with everything we needed. The living room is decorated with musical instruments and plenty of traveller gadgets. Very nice to stay here!

I'm in disbelief anyone would review this place anything other than 5 stars. Really. This is probably my 3-4 review because I really don't leave on unless the service is so outstanding it compels me to stop vacation and go online (very rare). Francis is incredible. He is such a positive guy that will get up in the middle of...

This place is probably the worst in Lima. You get Zero of what you pay for!!! The hostel is located in a very old building with an open roof which make the place freezing. The room was so old, in a very bad shape. The shower was awful!! Very cold, no pressure at all! The water didn't go down the...

Frances the owner told us all about Lima, complete with maps and ample local advice which is well needed in such a sprawling city. Rooms were clean and the communal bathroom had an excellent shower. The communal area was really cool with an array of instruments and a big tv. Highly recommended

We spent one night at the Miraflores House and my biggest regret is that we didn't stay longer. The main attraction here is definitely Francis - he is the definition of a perfect host, from meeting us when we arrived late (after midnight) with a smile and all the information we needed, to giving us the lowdown on everything we...

Clean, quiet, safe and accommodating. Francis and his staff are extremely hospitable. We got a private room for a friend and myself which was nice and dark and perfect for a nice rest. The hostel is also walking distance from the center of Miraflores. Miraflores House was the first place we stayed when we arrived in Lima at 6:00 AM...

I stayed at Miraflores House for two nights. I was with my girlfriend the first night and stayed there alone the second. This place quickly makes you feel like you are home. The owner, Francis, is one of the highlights of my Peru trip(May 2016). He was a great guy with great command of the english language. He provides you...
