It has a good view but the service is terrible, the room was full of insects and all the building is old, we were swimming in the pool and also some big frogs. One day my friends went to the restaurant and sit down on the table to wait for me to join them but the owner came tower them... More

The pool was dirty, the air didn't work, and to my surprise when i went to the wrong room my key worked. There was a reason you have to pay first. The only good thing was hot water. Too many other hotels in the same area for the same price to even chance staying here

My friends and I stayed in this hotel during our stay in this poor region of Peru. Having seen the town I appreciate the people of Iquitos don't have much, but this is still not an excuse for the poor standard of this hotel. Rooms were dirty, we had a view of tin rooves (someone has to have the 'no... More

Stayed here during our first week in Peru. Fell in love with Iquitos' dilapidated charms. The rooms are basic but spacious and clean, with huge balconies and amazing views. Waking up on the first morning at dawn to see the sun rise over the Itaya river was as special as it sounds. The swimming pool is basic but clean. The... More

The hotel is based in Cauchero's period, so the ground floor is comfortable with the reception and the bar. The views are amazing. The swimming pool was nice. WIFI ok. The rooms are quite old, I don't understand why they call it as hotel & suites. For the quality offered the price/room is high and the breakfast was really bad,... More

If you want it to be like home, stay home. Huge rooms, quite basic but clean linen, friendly staff if you try a bit of Spanish, I believe you get back what you give. Great views with the rooms in the front, over looking the little plaza, no traffic noise just local families enjoying plaza. Safe and secure, with pool... More

Great location, a fantastic price with a wonderful view of the Amazon tributary. The rooms have air conditioning and a balcony but there is a price to pay if you are a light sleeper. The local plaza below is exceptionally noisy until about midnight but it can go on till as late as 2 am. I happened to be there... More

We planed to stay some days. We had a look inside. The boss is absolute unfriendly. I don't like the way how he treats other people. So we changed to the Colibri Hostel, which we can really recommend instead.

This place is in a first class position at the pedestrian end of the esplanade, with big windows and balconies overlooking the Río Italia, has a good-size clean swimming pool and a big rustic restaurant and bar area. It should be full all the time. But it was ghostly empty, and we were able to negotiate a good price for... More
