At Principe III in Cusco, the staff offered unparalleled assistance throughout our stay. Our room was notably comfortable, with a top-notch bed and shower. Loved the breakfast, particularly the fresh avocados on request. The hotel’s proximity to city landmarks made exploring a breeze. Highly recommend for a memorable stay.

This is a great hotel that is a ten minute walk from the Plaza Del Armas in central
Cusco. Kind, hospitable staff, clean, simple rooms with private bath and TV.

Rooms 513 and 514 tend to be noisy as they are near to the restaurant, but it is tolerable. Breakfast is delicious and fresh.

Hotel was filled with Americans and Europeans. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

Without hesitation, I would stay here again.

OK location and OK price/quality ratio, still it has room for improvement.
Service is helpful, specially Liz, who made our experience much better by helping us with several requests before we left.
We had a small issue with a tour where they forgot registering us with the agency after our booking in the hotel, meaning that the tour guide didn’t pick us up on time. They fixed it 45’ later, taking us to the second stop of the tour so we didn’t lose much of it...

We were supposed to stay 4 nights here and left earlier as we just couldn't stand the noise (street, people having breakfast at 6 am next to our bed), the smells coming from the sewage and the experience in general. Very depressingly looking hotel, weird layout and the staff wasn't very interested in accommodating us. The breakfast was pretty lacking a lot, too. Not very appetizing and some food tasting questionable (not fresh).
We ended up staying in an amazing hotel a bit further away for the same price and wished we never checked in.

I stayed here two nights before my Machu Picchu trek, and one night after. Different rooms. In both rooms, the shower was a terrible experience. The hot water is unusable, because even the smallest turn of the knob makes the water scalding hot. The bathrooms are also poorly ventilated, so they smell bad.
The location is a ways from the main areas of Cusco, but still within walking distance. The staff generally don't speak English. This hotel would be good value for money if the hot water worked properly, but as it stands, I don't recommend this place!

Good basic stay. Comfy beds, standard room space, alright breakfast. Only problem we had was with the hot and cold water, either one or the other. Very City central, helpful staff, clean rooms. The hotel provided laundry services and had access to Netflix on a smart TV which was excellent.

Although this is a budget hotel, there are basic requirements such as hot water. This was not available. It’s not the easiest hotel to find as it’s down a small ally way. The check in man didn’t speak any English at all so it was a little confusing trying to establish what he was saying. There was certainly not warmth of friendliness though. The room was clean but uncomfortable beds. The door to exit was actually locked so you couldn’t leave the floor without buzzing down to reception in the morning. It didn’t feel safe. Wifi was very poor and had problems connecting. This really wasn’t a very nice place to stay and do not recommend this hotel.

We had originally made a longer booking but when we arrived were told it could only be for 4 nights. Our room was just off the reception. Walls were paper thin so we heard every noise from other rooms and people talking in reception, the phone ringing there and the buzzer for people, seeking entrance from outside. One night a private party outside also kept us up but I assume it was not a normal event.

Breakfast service was horrible and we constantly had to ask for replenishment of items. Once we asked for new silverware and though all other plates empty they only brought out silverware.

Hotel entrance is just off the Main Street in the driveway to the parking lot behind. The driveway is often gated and you need to buzz up for admittance. Reception is on the fourth floor. There is an elevator but we found it often shut down by early evening so this is definitely not an option for anyone who might find four flights of stairs challenging. Remember the altitude also.

Location of hotel appeared in center of town but was several blocks from the area you would like to stay and a 15-20 minute walk to the Plaza Des Armes. You need to get several blocks closer to the center to get any of the colonial character Cusco has to offer so it leaves you with a bad first impression when you arrive in town.

Hotel accepted only Visa (as do many places in Peru) even though we were told MasterCard was ok. With so many hotel options in Cusco I do not see why you would want to stay here
