This is so far the best and well managed hotel in Cusco. The hotel is only a minute away from the Wanchaq station where you catch the bus/train to Ollantaytambo and en route to Machu Picchu. Peru Rail and Inca Rail. The hotel is gated and you must ring the bell to get in. We were warmly welcomed by Ynette( if I am right with the name) who checked us in. She prepared us tea with coca leaves to help with the high altitude. She carried our bags all the way to the 3rd floor. Our room overlooked a well kept garden. Sheets were super white, very clean bathroom, shower and big towels.
The room is immaculate. It has a luggage rack and keyway to hang clothes. A desk and a chair. We did not watch TV as we are exhausted from enjoying the sites of Cusco.Their breakfast is good and consisted of eggs, sausage, yogurt, freshly squeezed fruit juice, pastries, bread, fruit and coffee/tea. Same staff you checked us was the breakfast room and also clean rooms. Wow! Reminds me of Siomara, my head housekeeper, who does everything in the hotel I manage. We also met Boris and Jose the brothers and owners. They were so helpful with all our needs (arranged our cab back to the airport, directions to Peru Rail office, etc.) These brothers knows how to manage a hotel. They were caring and very professional. Kudos for a job well done. I will definitely recommended your hotel to all my friends and family who wishes to travel to Cusco.
Thank you for accommodating us.

Illa's inn offered an excellent hospitality and service. The location is pretty strategic as it's within 3 mins walking distance and nearby the Wanchaq station, so you don't need to grab a taxi when you want to take a tour to Machu Picchu early in the morning or late in the evening. The receptionist named Alex was very informative and helpful. For its price, I think the bedroom was decent. It has private bathroom, bed, TV, 2 bedside tables and a desk. The breakfast was good but not that variative. It had fried eggs, ham, bread, granola, juice, yoghurt and milk. But one thing to note is the bedroom doesn't have heater. So when the room temperature is very cold in the midnight, it can be hard to sleep.

Illa's inn offered excellent hospitality and service. The location is pretty strategic as it's within 3 mins walking distance to the Wanchaq station, so no taxi needed when you are heading to Machu Picchu early in the morning or late in the evening. The receptionist named Alex was very informative and helpful. Gave us the name to an awesome restaurant called La Quinta Cocina Peruana. For its price, the bedroom was decent. We had the 2 twin beds because that's all available when booking but it had a private bathroom, with nice hot water. The breakfast was good. It had fried eggs, ham, bread, juice, coffee and milk.

Stayed at the Illa's Hotel for 4 nights. What an amazing experience! Everything was perfect! Super clean hotel; very helpful staff. Conveniently located (2 min walk) from Wanchaq station where you can take the train to Machu Picchu; 15 minute walk to city center. Boris, the manager of the hotel is simply outstanding. He made sure all my needs were met, provided great suggestions of places to see, organized taxi's, even accommodated me by opening the breakfast a little earlier for me as I had an early pick up for a tour. The Buffet Breakfast offered a variety of hot and cold options, scrambled eggs, sausage, cheeses, cold cuts, pastries, fruit, yogourt, freshly squeezed juice, coffee, etc. Thank you, Boris and staff for an incredible experience! Will definitely be returning to Illa's Hotel for future travel to Cusco!

We spent 8 nights here in May. This was an incredible find! We had a huge room (I think the room type was the family room)with a view of the garden area. Like most hotels in South America there is no heat, but there were extra blankets available and they had heaters available upon request. The bed was soft and comfortable and the pillows were fluffy ( just like we like them :) )Breakfast was amazing every day they had something warm aside from the normal buffet items. One day it was tamales…they were so good. We never left breakfast wanting something more. It was a wonderful start everyday. One day we had an early tour and they provided us with a to go breakfast that was very appreciated! The hotel decorations were also amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The building is safe and secure. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We would definitely recommend this place!!

The hotel is quiet and cozy. With adorable green garden. Rooms are big. Everything were clean and ready on time. People working there are so helpful with every little request we asked. Breakfast was freshly cooked every day and packed for us when we left for early morning trips. It’s just 15-20 minutes of slow walking to main square and all historical cites, restaurants etc. Our family spent amazing time. Thank you.

We loved our stay at Illas Inn and would recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was a short walk from central Cusco and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They kindly let us have a late check out and store our bags.

The bed was HUGE and we had such a good night’s sleep. The rooms were also very clean.

The garden was beautiful and we even had time to use the gym (which had 2 big machines in it.)

Exceptional value for money and we would stay here again.

Illa’s Inn went above and beyond to make our stay smooth, at home, comfortable, and even safe. From booking us a last-minute stay when our initial hotel did not work out to helping our family in a health emergency, our stay in Cusco would not have been the same had we not booked with Illa’s. All four of us highly recommend!

Front desk people are so friendly and helpful. Room is clean and quiet, the bed is comfortable. Price was so affordable. I had to catch a very early bus and the front desk clerk offered packing breakfast for me. I declined as that would cause too much work on him. But it was very kind for him offering that. Can’t complain anything about this place.

This hotel is terrible. The entrance to the hotel is an entrance to the garage. Front desk lady does not speak a word in other languages than Spanish. Rooms are cold and moist. Breakfast is really poor. In addition you have to ring a bell so that the door will be opened. And this bell ringing is really disturbing while in the room plus a lot of noice, when someone walking or talking in the corridor.
