The rooms are very comfortable, spacious with everything you need for a good rest, the cleaning service is excellent, as well as the amazing breakfast service with unique dishes and prepared with lots of love , you can repeat yourself many times and the people who attend you treat you with great attention and kindness . The treatment of the staff towards tourists is amazing, they are very close , which you do not see elsewhere.

The atmosphere in the hotel is unique, full of unforgettable details, delicious dinners with live music. I think I would come back to this hotel and recommend it 100%.

The hotel is clean, the rooms aren't crammed with wool blankets or carpets, which is fundamental for people with allergies (such as me and my wife).

Their location is very good, right next to Mercado San Pedro and 7-10 minute walk from Plaza de Armas. Another good place near the hotel is the market down the street that sell water, snacks and other things by half the price you would pay in other stores.

The food in their restaurant is very tasty, better than some expensier places in town and helps a lot after a long day full of activities.

Their breakfast is awesome with pancakes, waffles, eggs (sunnyside, revueltos, omelets, etc), coffe, tea, infusions (mint, coca, munã), etc.

Most imporant of all, the staff are lovely! Specially the breakfast crew Yulisa, Vanessa, Ruben and Roy! Not to mention their pet lhama Kiki and its "mom" Veronica!

Dear henryt212, Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review! We are delighted to hear that you and your wife enjoyed your stay and found our hotel clean and comfortable, especially given your allergies. We strive to provide a welcoming environment for all our guests. Our location is indeed convenient, being close to Mercado San Pedro and within walking distance to Plaza de Armas. We're glad you found the nearby market useful as well. It's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the food in our restaurant and our extensive breakfast offerings. We take pride in offering delicious meals to our guests, and we're thrilled that you found them better than some of the more expensive places in town. Your kind words about our staff, especially Yulisa, Vanessa, Ruben, and Roy, mean a lot to us. We're also pleased that Kiki and her caretaker Veronica added to your experience. We expect to see you again soon. Kind regards Jorge Lazo General Manager Union Hotel Cusco

From the moment you arrive you feel at home, the staff is always very attentive to what you need, the place is very clean and with very large spaces. It is in a very good location in the historic center, the service in the restaurant and bar in addition to its exquisite flavors is great, they also have live music and a beautiful baby alpaca named Kiki with whom you can take photos. My stay at Hotel Union Cusco was full of positive aspects. The shower was excellent, providing a relaxing and invigorating moment. The air-conditioned room was a lifesaver to face Cusco's characteristic cold, making the experience much more pleasant.

The location is a great asset, situated right in the historic center, allowing for easy walking and exploration of the region. The breakfast deserves to be highlighted, with an exceptional variety and impeccable service. The presence of a chef who prepares waffles, crepes and omelettes live adds a special touch.

Furthermore, the option to store luggage after checkout at no additional cost is very convenient, and the presence of a bathroom in the common area is a useful detail.

A BONUS is the presence of the adorable baby alpaca named Kiki, well cared for and incredibly cute.

There are, however, some points to be improved. Room 101, where I stayed on my first stay, was exposed to the street and close to the reception, which resulted in a lot of noise. One piece of information that could be better communicated is the possibility of requesting a snack box for tours that leave early in the morning, which could be very useful.

Furthermore, the Wi-Fi could also be a little better, but it works.

Nice quaint place near Mercado San Pedro and the San Pedro cathedral, set up by our tour company. The room was clean and had the complimentary coca tea, water, and hot water bottles for the cold Andean nights. Nice firm bed, which was a pleasant surprise to more bouncy ones we experienced in Peru. There is a live music show from 6:30-8:30pm daily, and there is the cute alpaca, Kiki, to entertain you. For those wanting to clean their clothes, there is a laundry close by that charges per kg (about 10 PEN per kg) and delivers it to the hotel with your room number. Our complimentary breakfast was nice, with a nice selection of fruits, soup (corn soup was delicious), juices, small sandwiches, and courtesy of wonderful service from Vaneza, Roy, and Chef Ruben.

Highly recommend staying here.

Dear Anand L, Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at Union Hotel Cusco. We are more than happy to know that you can enjoy our property and the staff service as well, it warms our hearts to know that you appreciated the charming courtyard where our delightful alpaca Kiki resides. We're delighted that you had the opportunity to interact with our furry friend and enjoy the nightly music shows that we offer every days. Also we are happy to know that we have managed to exceed your expectations. It is a great motivation for us and all the staff will be happy to hear your words, specially Roy, Ruben & Vaneza from our restaurant team. On the other hand we also appreciate your comments about our assisted buffet breakfast where we offer many options such as French toast, waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, omelettes, among other varied and gluten-free options, as well as about the turn-down service provided every afternoon where we leave hot water bottles, thermos with an infusion of natural herbs, truffles and a thank you card for choosing us. Thank you for your preference and we hope to serve you again whenever your travels bring you back to Cusco. Sincerely, Jorge Lazo General Manager Union Hotel Cusco

This was the most charming hotel in Cusco with its own Alpaca (actually more than one as we saw 2 different ones during our stay. Veronika was the alpaca care-taker and you could tell she took great care of them). The room was spacious (they even put hot water bottles into your bed at night - such a nice treat); the courtyard was inviting (with nightly music), they had a big bottle/jug of water in the hallway to fill your water bottles each day, the location was perfect (felt very safe), the included breakfast was amazing! but the staff is what made our stay memorable. I wish I could name everyone at the hotel from the managers, front desk staff (they even helped us book a great private tour of the Sacred Valley). Everyone was so helpful and kind. Gracielia and Regina stood out with their warm smiles and personalities. Highly, highly recommend staying here on your vacation to Cusco. They stored our luggage while we did the Inca trail and provided snacks for the drive to our tours as the tours left early in the morning. Thank you to everyone at Union Hotel for making our stay here so memorable

Hotel Union Cusco is an excellent property, walking distance to all points of interest like plaza de armas. Breakfast staff is super attentive and respectful, Yulisa, Vaneza, chef Ruben and Roy. At dinner time you have Gregorio, great service! You will have fun with Kiki, the hotels Alpaca, kids and adults have fun petting and feeding him. Housekeeping service is on point addressing all items needed in the room. Definitely recommend!!

Hotel Union, excellent attention from all the staff, very attentive, helpful and with an energy that is contagious. At all times we feel comfortable. I highlight the attention at breakfast, the staff is incredible.
We went during the dry season and they did not maintain any contingency, we arrived after 9 pm on the tour and there was no water to bathe or use the bathroom. It is incredible that they do not have a contingency method that solves this problem and provides a solution to something as basic as being able to bathe or use the bathroom.
The rooms on the 2nd floor were an oven during the day, impossible to stay or rest. You had to go down to the patio and look for shade.
In short, a bad experience at the hotel.

We travel two family groups, with a total of 6 people, staying in two triple rooms, very spacious, where you will find details such as a welcome pack (kettle, tea, coffee, sugar...) and a bottle of hot water every afternoon at the foot of the bed.

The facilities tempt you to enjoy the stay in Cusco practically without leaving the hotel, because wood and fabric predominate, which generates a very welcoming atmosphere, both in the central courtyard and in the other spaces.

The location of the hotel is central, a 10 - 15 minute walk from Plaza de Armas, and 2 minutes from San Pedro Market and a good size supermarket where you can provide everything you need.

From the beginning, he remarkably highlighted the attention and friendliness of all the staff, but I must especially mention Yulisa, Reuben and Caesar, at the breakfast service, and Gregory, Nilda and Shakira at the dinner service. They responded to all our needs (which were several, for different topics), and helped facilitate our days in Cusco. Likewise, the concierge team also managed our travels, orientations, various doubts, laundry ... with professionalism, efficiency and a high degree of cordiality.
In our case, we stayed five nights, so we could also attend the pisco sour and ceviche preparation workshops, which were great. Thank you, Shakira and Yulisa!.

The level of the restaurant is high, with presence of traditional dishes, but also with more international or more basic offer (pasta, pizza, burgers...). The breakfast buffet is very complete, with a variety of cold (sausages, cheeses, fruit, yoghurts, etc.) and hot offers, made at the moment: tortillas, waffles, crêpes, eggs, etc.

In short, a very good option if you travel to Cusco and want to enjoy high quality accommodation.

The plugs allows for a US or Canadian plug but the voltage will be 220. So works ok for chargers as they convert to 110. But other things will need a converter.

Yes, they can arrange a transfer service for you, but it is just the regular taxi. I wouldn't recommend it. You can use Uber and we found that Uber was always cheaper and regular taxi drivers use Uber as well. Furthermore, at the end of a trip, it asks for the tip, but it's only the equivalent of $1.66 and they were always very appreciative. That being said, we had a taxi driver try to charge us what came out to $50, we said "no thanks", ordered an Uber and it was $11, so...
