Hotel Monasterio San Pedro is located next to the main square of Cusco, it is a monastery built in 1650. This delightful monastery is acomfortable hotel with three floral gardens and a variety of bedrooms with magnificent views. The Hotel San Pedro is located in the heart of Cusco, next to the main square, surrounded by Andean Baroque architecture in Cusco. This hotel was built and implemented by the religious mission of the "mercedarias" sisters of Cusco, and the revenues collected are for the household maintenance for the adolescents in orphanhood and helplessness in Cusco. The mission of "El Hogar San Pedro" is taking care of the needs of orphan girls by providing meals, clothing, health care and education. This home is in charge of missionary Mercedarias sisters who are like mothers to these children and their caregivers and accompany with love and responsibility, the little girls who come to the orphanage, without family support so the mercedarias sisters become its protective and educators.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating there was absolutely nothing we were left wanting for. We arrived in Cusco at 6AM and were allowed to check in early and catch up on some much needed sleep. On the four days we spent hiking the Inca Trail we were allowed to store our luggage and returned from the hike to everything exactly as we left it. The dining room and bar are conveniently located and offer very good food, particularly the continental breakfast and evening happy hour. 10/10!

Well priced hotel in a great location next to San Pedro Monastery and opposite the market. Around a 5 minute walk down one long road to the Plaza De Armas and touristic areas. External tours had no issue finding the address and the main road made it convenient for them to park up. WiFi worked fine throughout the entire hotel and there was a bedside lamp that could be unplugged to have a bedside plug available if needed. The grounds were beautiful and staff very friendly and welcoming. Around a 20 minutes drive to the airport depending on traffic. Hotel had a luggage room to store my luggage free of charge when I checked out as my flight was late in the evening.
The door of the room didn't seal properly (but did close and lock, there was just a gap at the bottom of the door). As a result I was woke up several times to people coming and going across the hardwood floor hallway, particularly early in the morning when people were going to daytrips or rolling their luggage across it.

We had a large room for our family vacation. The property is well maintained and rooms are kept clean (including the hallways and dining areas). The location is across from the large outdoor market and street food - within walking distance of the square and museums.

This was absolutely the best hotel we could have stayed at. It is an old monastery I am pretty sure which made it very interesting and boutique. The gardeners there are amazing and filled the property with beauty. Breakfast was wonderful and a breakfast box was made up without us asking one day. The cleaning staff did a very thorough job in our room. Front desk staff knew English. Good coordination between front desk and tour companies who came to pick us up. Laundry service was prompt. There is also someone who will come to offer massage services from what I saw. Best of all, the location could not be beat!! It was PERFECT!

The outside of the structure is non-descript. Once one enters it’s a different world. The staff greeted us in monk garb and the lobby is like a church. Choral music is piped in and the experience is of one stepping back in time. The courtyard in the center of the hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed drinks and dinner there in the evening (there were fires in the fire pits to add to the ambiance. Ask for a room facing a courtyard.

Breakfasts were plentiful and Gary with good selections. This hotel experience was one of the high points of our trip to South America!

Location: great location. Super convenient if you catch up trains from San Pedro. Literally just walk to the next door. Main square and major attractions in Cusco are in walking distance.

Breakfast: simple but good variety.

Room: we got a room for three so it was spacious.

Cleanness: it’s okay clean. Anyway we brought our own wipes to do a deep clean.

Staff: in general they are very friendly but some of them speak little English and it was a bit challenging to communicate sometimes . They helped us to arrange an emergency clinic visit and it was very helpful.

Oxygen: the oxygen tank in the lobby does come handy

This hotel had a good location across from the market and a short walk to the main square. We stayed in a family room that had two separate rooms and three beds. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good.

Room is clean and basic, with a great garden. Location is perfect, opposite to St. Metro Market, next to train station to Macchu Picchu, super convenient for me to take an early train to Macchu Picchu and return late. The main square and lots of restaurants are within 10mins walk. Traveling around in Cusco with Uber from and to the hotel is quick and cheap.

I would recommend Hotel Monasterio San Pedro to a friend.
I left my phone at hotel monasterio and the team there were very helpful with getting it back. Big thanks especially to Astuna and Liz.

Good location, nice staff and clean rooms.

There is a restaurant there also but we did not eat here as there is many options in cusco.
