Would recommend this small boutique hotel.

The location of the hotel is good as it's only a few minutes walk away from Plaza San Armas.

The staff were very friendly including the owner.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. Above expectations for the price you pay.

The breakfast was quite simple and could be improved, but overall ok. It included eggs (scrambled or fried) with toast, orange juice and coffee.

Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Ultra clean. Modern. Great location in Cusco. Edgar the manager takes great care of guests and Sheryl help provide for breakfast needs and runs the property's nice coffee shop. The value of this property cannot be overstated. We were very pleased with our stay, the service and their attention to detail.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while in Cusco. The hotel more than exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the rooms were spacious, modern, very very clean with in room amenities of a larger corporate type luxury hotel. Robes, luxury bathroom amenities, slippers, chocolate and coca tea were provided as well as free daily bottles of water. The room also had a heater which was much needed as Cusco nights can be cold. The bathrooms were clean with great finishings, rainfall shower, good water pressure and temperature, and a heater in the restroom. Our room was quiet even though it was next to the reception area and the hotel is in a fairly busy street in Cusco. Being it is a nine room boutique hotel the staff knows all their guests and are very attentive to the needs of their guests.

Upon arriving back from our tours or trekking around the city, the front desk always confirmed our departure time for our tour the next day just so they can have breakfast ready for us since the price included daily breakfast with our stay. When we left for our one day trek of Machu Picchu the hotel had prepared a bag of snacks/breakfast for us consisting of sandwiches, apples, energy bars, water bottles, and orange juice cartons, which was more than enough to prepare us for our full day tour of Machu Picchu.

The hotel is in a wonderful area, right next to the Qorikancha Ruins, a short distance (about 7-10 minutes walk) from Plaza De Armas, a 10 minute walk from San Blas, and surrounded by a number of restaurants and cafes. A must try is the bakery across the street! The neighborhood is safe to walk around both at night and during the day, with police always patrolling helping to keep this tourist area of Cusco safe. The hotel also arranged for our pick up and drop off to the airport. The buffet breakfast was very good and fresh. Overall I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. I would stay here again if I ever find myself back in Cusco! Thank you Atiq Hotel for a great stay!

We spent 4 nights at the Atiq hotel. This modern hotel is well located, less than 10 minutes of the Plaza de Armas. The room was spacious and large, well-decorated and very confortable. The bathroom was fine. Even if the hotel is on a main street, Avenue El Sol, it is quiet and calm. We never heard any noise. The staff, either at the reception (Guillaume and ?) or, at the restaurant (Angela) were professional, very nice and helpful. The breakfast, à la Carte, was just delicious and offer a wide variety of food. For the lunch or a coffee break, there is a great bakery and coffee shop, just on the other side of the street. I highly recommanded the Atiq hotel. It was perfect from the beginning to the end.

We stayed for only 1 night in a superior twin layout , the best thing about the hotel is the location , 5 minutes walk to the Plaza de Armas , and the size and comfort of the bedrooms , WI FI was pretty good , the breakfast is basic ... all in all a good recomendable option for Cusco .

Our experience was tainted by building work in the adjoining building. At times the noise was so bad we could hardly hear each other. Not their fault and probably fixed now however they offered no real apology a or compensation
The hotel is clean and comfortable, is very well situated for seeing the town and the food is reasonable. One odd thing it was pretty cold at night during our stay. to conserve energy I suppose they switch the heating off between 8pm and 6pm!! They will turn it on if you complain!!

I did not stay at the hotel, though it seems modern and well maintained. I did visit the restaurant/café twice for lunch though, and have to say their daily menu rocks. It is a small place, maybe 6-7 tables, they usually have 3 options (soup+main food-chicken/beef/pasta), simple and at a very affordable 20-25 soles price. The Chupe of quinoa is an incredible soup, an experience itself, it is extremely well served in the daily option (could fill you up already), it is tasty, it is rich, it is incredible. Then the main course is also tasty in a perfect combination of flavour and harmony. I had the beef chaufa with rice and it was incredible, this combination of chupe of quinoa (soup) and the beef chaufa are unbeatable for flavour/price/service. Do not be shy, stop by this place at the Avenida del Sol near the Qoriacancha and enjoy the marvelous food there.

After staying in many five and four star hotels in Cuzco and being disappointed by their quality of service; we looked more carefully at other options. We are Peruvians, so we have the advantage of having been in Cuzco many times and know well the security risks of that city as well as what to ask when making a reservation. From the beginning, we were impressed by the promptness of the management to answer our concerns, offering all the details needed to made a room selection and helping us with requests we had prior to our arrival. We stayed for four nights and wanted to stay longer because of the attention to detail; good quality of breakfast food and service; excellent infrastructure including a comfortable bed, clean and new facilities as well as a window facing an ancient Sun Temple. We also receive help with many new attractions in the city which made a repeated visit to look as a new and exciting one. Two additional details that some passengers may need to know. First, rooms are in a second and third floor. But you get help with your luggage and at all times, since there is no elevator. Secondly, the hotel is five blocks away from the main square and the walk is nice and secure. So do not be concern about distance from main attractions or restaurants. The hotel management even helps you with restaurants' reservations needed for the best food options in Cuzco.
I am sure that this small hotel will soon be regarded as a much better option to many big ones in Cuzco; and if so, it will be due not to a good advertising campaign; but to the facts and experiences of those like us that are grateful for having been there! Thanks again for a wonderful stay, we will return! We found what we needed and hope to find a room once the hotel is better known!

This small and modern hotel is situated in absolutely the ideal place for those visiting Cusco for a few days or on a stopover to Machu Picchu. It is literally a 5-8 minute walk to Plaza de Armas (the historical centre of Cusco) and an even shorter walk to Qoricancha, the must-see Inca temple. An ATM machine is next door, and an excellent cafe across the street.

The independent hotel has a small but dedicated staff who man the front desk and provide a generous breakfast. But the nicest thing about the hotel are its spacious rooms (I visited 4 rooms and all were of equally high standard). Spacious and comfortable, and with more character than that of the typical hotel chains. One downside is that most rooms do not open to the outside but to internal spaces that provide daylight but no views. That actually does not matter because the outside view would only have been of the main road or of neighbouring buildings.

We stayed in this hotel twice while in Cusco, Peru (before and after visiting Machu Picchu) and were not very impressed. First, the good, the hotel is located in Av. del Sol, right beside Qorikancha and walking distance to Plaza de Armas and other main sites; the hostess lady at breakfast was there everyday and she was always welcoming and very nice; mostly everything else was decent but not impressive. Now, the not so good: we booked our trip on Expedia and the pic of the room shown in the reservation was wrong, we asked and the pic shown is actually the suite but that's not what we had booked and we felt deceived; also good luck on who's working in the afternoon after the cleaning staff leaves as we needed toiletries and towels a different day and some staff would help others not so much; again in the booking, it said we had free buffet breakfast but they don't even do that at this hotel and, while some items are included with your breakfast, you actually need to pay for certain items on the menu if you want those, again deceiving from the booking part; finally the rooms have direct access to the front desk, meaning you will hear as people enter the building at the reception desk (the downstairs room was a bit better as there is a glass in between the room and the front but the upstairs rooms are completely open to the front desk area).
