We could not have had a better experience. We unexpectedly had to extend our stay, Despite being fully booked, Mirella, the manager made changes so that we could continue on. Our gorgeous room was in the house overlooking the valley. There was a living room area the few guest rooms shared with a nightly fire, patio with rocking chairs and warm blankets, and plenty of space to spread out and play a game or read.
The breakfast was plentiful and fresh, including eggs and pancakes. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and so thoughtful. Whatever we needed was no problem. Coming back into the room after it was cleaned we found our charger neatly coiled up and shoes realigned. Just really thoughtful.
Walking down to the square with tons of delicious restaurants, museums, and shops was a breeze. There is a park right around the corner where many people gather to look onto the city or relax while watching the sunset. This is exactly what we can do from our patio. Gorgeous!

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The Junior Suite room was spacious and very comfortable. It was definitely worth it and the price is very reasonable! The hotel is well kept and is extremely clean. The location is convenient as it is less than a five minute walk to the city square. The view from the hotel is very beautiful, since it sits high over the city and you can get some really great pictures of Cusco. You can even check out a few llamas in its courtyard! The staff there is very professional. They are all glad to help if you need anything at all, and they were more than willing to spend time in providing some good recommendations for places to eat and touristic areas to visit. Also one of the best things about the hotel is their breakfast. The quality of the food is very high. They have a buffet style breakfast as well as you can order freshly cooked dishes, all is included. There is no outside noise at night, so you can be sure that you'll sleep without any disturbances and this was very important for me. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I'm in Cusco!

This is an amazing boutique hotel! Some furnishings and doors date from the 17th century and the history spans from the 1300’s when it was an Inca site and palace. The Spanish took it in the 1500’s and it took on its latest form in 2015. The views of the city, especially at night, are breathtaking. It’s an easy walk downhill to the main square of Cusco, and taxis are abundant and inexpensive to bring you back up. This is where I’ll definitely stay if I ever come back to Cisco!

We stayed here with 3 couples in their 50s and 4 men in their 20s. This is a gorgeous place to stay and we were all in a house separate from the main hotel with its own terrace overlooking the city and living room/dining room area. That was perfect for us as we ordered in dinner one night and had a fire going in the fireplace. They only negative was that it was cold. They don't heat the common areas and the fireplace was the only thing that kept us warm. You had to wear coats, hats and gloves to the delicious breakfast in the main house. They really should at least heat the breakfast area, it's hard to enjoy breakfast while shivering. Otherwise the property is exquisite with Incan ruins on site. We did the cooking course and Henri was a great translator and tour guide through the markets. Quite fun. We also hired him for an afternoon tour. Overall I would highly recommend, the service was top notch and the property is gorgeous -- just please heat the common areas!

Great boutique hotel. Staff made us feel at home with their professional and personalized service.
Unparallel location, with espectacular view at only a couple of blocks from the main square.
It even has Incas ruins on their premises
Would recommend to anyone.

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel room and the grounds of the hotel were absolutely beautiful. Everything was very clean and safe. Jean Carlo was very helpful with my luggage and making sure I had everything that I needed. I would love to stay at this hotel again.

We stayed two nights at this hotel while traveling in Peru for 8 days. It is located on San Cristobal up above the city of Cuzco. The art and decor of this hotel are impressive. All of the staff speaks English fluently. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Like other reviewers, we did find the common areas of the hotel quite cold, but this is understandable given the historic building. Our room temperature was warm and comfortable. We had a lovely conversation with Cesar over breakfast about different areas in Peru and their wildlife. Mirella and Marco work the front desk and helped with all our needs. Marco gave us a complete tour of the hotel grounds the night we arrived, which was appreciated for the art, the history of the hotel and the Incan ruins on the property. One morning, two alpacas greeted us in the courtyard when we went to breakfast. This is a truly unique boutique hotel. A word to the wise, because of the location of the hotel, combined with Cusco’s high altitude, we took taxis to get to the Plaza de Armas, restaurants and shops. We are 55/60 and in good shape, but the walk was too strenuous for us to handle. We will definitely come back.

A small hotel located on a hill with lovely views overlooking Cusco. Short walk of 15 mins to the main attractions and restaurants of Cusco. However, note that these walks can be up or down quite steep inclines.

The hotel has a small spa with a sauna (on pay as use basis) and offers massage, the latter of which was very good and much needed after climbing Wayna Picchu.

There is one restaurant that offers a good breakfast and limited dining options. Rooms are spacious and generally clean and well maintained.

Service is excellent. Staff are well trained, friendly and accommodating.

Everything about the hotel is amazing, especially the view and the beautiful grounds, not to mention the historical significance of the hotel. The only complaints were that the noise from outside was audible and we heard music until the wee hours of the night. Also, there was a television but it didn't function. The location is unbeatable and we spent almost every night looking at the beautiful view from the hotel's terrace. Regardless of the noise, we would still stay at this magnificent hotel again. The service was amazing and the breakfast was delicious.

Wow this hotel impressed us! We stayed here after a 4 day trek along the Inca Trail and when we arrived it felt like we were walking into a land of luxury! I’m happy to say, that even after a night of rest, that feeling never went away. This hotel is simply STUNNING! From it’s rich décor, to it’s incredible views overlooking Cusco, we really enjoyed our time here! Our room was not only comfortable and beautifully decorated, but we had a view of two alpacas grazing outside our window which was so special!
The restaurant on site has an amazing view, the food was so delicious for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just a wonderful experience and we would definitively stay here again!
