We were very happy with our stay in casa Elena the first two nights in Cuzco. We also decided to stay a third night when coming back from the Urubamba valley. Casa Elena is a clean and very hospitable place, great breakfast and location. We can only recommend this place!

We stayed here twice, 5 years apart and both times we felt the warmth of the Peruvian people. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the breakfast is good. It's a lovely atmosphere and once you are inside on the premises, you feel transported to a different world. You don't hear the noises from the street and it's a very... More

I stayed one night and move right after, the room was comfortable but the place is like a hounted house, nobody at the front desk, no help with accommodations, if you dont reserve through their travel agency in Lima and pay for tours you would be totally ignored. Avoid.

From the moment we arrived at Casa Elena, we were made to feel at home. Elena not only provided our accommodations in Cusco but picked us up at the airport and made all of our arrangements and reservations for our visits to Machu Picchu and lake Titicaca. She also arranged for a private tour of the Sacred Valley. She can... More

I am so glad I was set up with Casa Elena through my hostal in Lima - Elena and her staff were most helpful. First the basics - it's well located, just a few minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas and even closer to San Blas church (also a must visit). The rooms are comfortable and clean; the premises... I stayed at Casa Elena for about 2 weeks in July and August of 2015. Let me start by saying the owner Elena is amazing, she knows the ins and outs of the area and is able to make bookings and travel arrangements for her guests. The hotel is clean and comfortable with a friendly staff. They offer a complementary... More

I purchased a tourist package through Casa Elena, which included accommodations for 5 nights, and tours through Cusco, Machu Picchu, and many other interesting sites. Casa Elena arranged it all. I did not lift a finger. My experience, in one word, was INCREDIBLE. Mr. Medina, the manager, and the staff at Casa Elena was very attentive, and clearly dedicated to... More
