Cannot praise this place enough. We have been quarantined in Cusco and the manager and all his staff have been so helpful. He has taken us in and fed us evening meals even though he doesn’t usually prove them. The rooms are lovely and the food fantastic. The hotel has two beautiful court yards to sit in the sun or shade. The lobby has free tea and the bar is very comfortable.
Best hotel in Cusco.

Inkarri is a very charming hotel and in a good location close to the main square. Although it feels a bit like a "hole in the wall" when you arrive, once you're inside, you'll appreciate the two courtyards on the property. The rooms are comfortable and clean, although we'd recommend avoiding #110 if you can (it has no view and is noisy at night, so we had to move) and consider upgrading to the superior rooms as they are more spacious and much quieter! Both Joel and Abraham were extremely helpful in making us feel comfortable and went the extra mile, so a huge shout out to both of them!

As others have mentioned, the sidewalks are extremely narrow in the area. If you're going to the main square, take the long way to minimize the time spent on these extremely narrow sidewalks

A wonder place to stay in Cusco. Clean, quiet, very nice rooms. There are so many places to sit and relax throughout the property. They have antique pieces all over the property making it not only a relaxing place to stay but an interesting one as well. They have a nice bar with very refreshing drinks. They have 3 different restaurant/cafe on site...from Chicharron Pork to pizza and pasta to Lomo Saltado. Their Lomo Saltado is excellent as is their pork! Abrahan was our host during our two visits. He was there when we were evacuated from Machu Picchu and arrived after midnight...the bags we had stored with them were already in our room as he greeted us and got us into our room quickly. Just a great host! The breakfast was very good. Very convenient to the main Plaza and the Cathedral.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a one star review on Trip Advisor, and I have written them from time to time over twelve years or so.

Stay very far from this hotel. During the day it seems innocuous other than a few inconveniences (Wi-Fi doesn’t work in room, bedside tables had no where to be plugged in where they could stay on the bedside tables, no daylight in room, only cold water in the sink, location more than 1 km from the Plaza des Armas, etc).

However, at night this place turns into a very loud bar/club in the open central courtyard. Rooms are arrayed on two floors around the bar. Music begins around 7 pm and prevents sleep until late into the night. I even had earplugs. There are no “good” rooms—only less terrible ones.

Our first room had a sliver of a window that overlooked the club. A large speaker on a stand was adjacent to it, as was a table for patrons. Hell on earth for this traveler.

Never have I asked to have my room changed, but after much begging they moved us to a second floor room. This room has bedside lamps that plug in, still cold water in the sink, a beautiful view, Wi-Fi and club music at a somewhat lower volume. Less awful.

This morning we are on our way to Machu Picchu at 5 am. The hotel failed to pack us breakfast. So, we are on our way to what should have been the highlight of our trip sleep-deprived and with empty stomachs. We are traveling with a group and have been together for two weeks. Everyone is appalled that Exoticca would put us in these accommodations.

Anyway, I hope I can help one person avoid this experience at a destination that should be rather magical.

I was disappointed by this hotel. Because it is an old city, the streets were very narrow and one way. On arriving, we had to exit the bus quickly and our luggage was rushed into the hotel so the vehicle could leave as soon as possible. This was simply a matter of location and not critical. Our room was unimpressive and the bathroom sink had cold water only. Not nice when I shave or wash. I saw one roll only of toilet tissue and since travellers diarrhoea is an issue in Peru I was surprised. I managed to get an extra roll from a staff member just in case. However, when our room was cleaned the next morning, it was gone! Is there a one roll only rule at this hotel? I have never seen this in our travels before.
The breakfast buffet was unimpressive.
We were given a map of the location at the front desk and went on a tour of the city with a guide. We left the guide to have lunch and when we tried to find our way back to the hotel, we had difficulty. The streets on the map did not seem to help us at all. Because there are no overhanging hotel signs, it was awkward finding the hotel when nearby.
I would not recommend this hotel at all. The one positive was that the shower pressure was excellent.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a tour of Peru . The hotel is located down a narrow street approximately 20 minutes from the main plaza.

The hotel is freezing only one small electric radiator per room which was inadequate . Even the bar and reception areas were freezing. Staff wore thick jackets,

Television didn’t work, no shower gel or shampoo in rooms which felt damp,

We asked for a double room when we got there one bed was downstairs the other upstairs . The stairs were lethal couldn’t get my suitcase up there. We asked for another room staff very pleasant and accommodating,

This was one if the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. Hot water only from 6 To 9am and never any in the sink! The rooms are not insulated or heated and we were freezing the entire 4 day stay. Live music is played every night in the courtyard and it is impossible to sleep. Saturday night it went on til 12 am and we had to get up at 4am! I'm being generous in rating 1 star. I don't know how it can be rated a 3. We have stayed in hotels, motels and B and B's all over the world, and this was the worst experience ever! The only good thing I can say is that the staff were very nice.

The staff here are very helpful. The rooms were spacious, beds were semi comfy with lots of covers and pillows. The only heating was a ceramic heater on the wall which took a while to heat up but was adequate. No heat in the bathroom. The bathroom smelled like sewer. It was bad. We kept the small window open but spent as little time in there as possible. Noise could be heard from other rooms and music from the various downstairs restaurants was pretty loud. Breakfast was pretty good. There was used soap from the last guest in the shower.

This was my third time in Cuzco and first time staying at this hotel. Very close to the airport (around 15 min) and walking distance to the main square where all the bars and restaurants are located.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They offer a very complete breakfast, there are several food options and different vendors, good food for all the meals of the day and the staff was always very attentive.

I would definitely stay again if I ever return to Cusco and I would recommend it if you are ever there.

I have been really touched by the kindest of people in Cusco, especially by those working at the Inkarri Hotel Cusco.

Katy of the hotel restaurant makes the best jam/confiture ever made of the traditional aguaymanto (yellow
Peruvian fruits full of antioxidants and vitamine C). She has a secret recipe to make this delicious preparation available for guests at the hotel’s breakfast dine room and which allows visitors have the sweetest experience of Cusco before even going out the street and start with their city tours.

If you ever come to Cusco come to Inkarri hotel and ask for Katy’s aguaymanto jam!

Enjoy!
