The hotel was clean and allowed us to stay in the lobby from 4:30 am until our rooms were ready at 9 but the best part of our stay was Erica Varga. Erica arranged our trip to Machu Picchu and took care of all the transfers and tickets. She also found me a dentist at 9 pm on New Year's Day who was able to perform a root canal so that I could go on the tour the next day. Erica came with us to the dentist and helped in every way possible to make the experience less stressful. Can't imagine how my trip would have ended without Erica's help.

the hotel room was very basic, just enough space for you to walk, that's it. bathrooms were small but good enough if you don't need anything fancy. hot water available and towels provided. no extra towels will be given even if you asked. wifi not available in your room, only on the first floor of the hotel. breakfast was simple as well, cereal and fruits and tea. hotel location required you to walk pretty far up the hill of aguas caliantes, so be prepared for some exercise before you get to your room!

Stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms warm. Hot, hot shower, which was great after three days of trekking. The Internet only works on the ground floor lobby. The breakfast is puny.

If you are looking for a clean and friendly hotel that's a great value look no further. This property is basic, but it makes up for the lack of frills by it's friendly and considerate service. The room was clean, spacious and (in the evening) quiet. (During the day the noise from the street can be a bit much, but chances are you will have other things on your agenda exploring Cusco)! The location is OK, but its a moderately steep hike to get to the center. I don't eat breakfast so I can't comment on the quality of the food, (there is no on-site restaurant), but there are plenty of restaurants in the immediate area to cater to lunch and dinner.

Location is almost at the high end of Pachacutec street. Near the hot springs.
Very noisy. Basic service ok. Internet doesn't work unless you are near the street. My room phone didn't work. Even I told them but nobody did anything to repair it. I had to o to rwception each time I received a phone call (2 times).
They don't have access to outside calls..at least to Cusco...I wanted to contact my tour operator and I had to go out and look for a call centre.
Customer service, the worst seen in Peru. Don't care if something in your room doesn't work. No initiative to solve any complain.
I stayed here, because my tour operator work with them...if I could change of hotel I would.
Being a travel agent, this is a red flag in the service and is I believe the tour operator should check better their supplier. If I offer this tour I'll make sure that they don't use this hotel, at least not wih my clients.

This hotel is high up on the hill but if you don't do hills you shouldn't be in Agues Calientes. We were pleased with our room and bathroom both of which seemed to have been recently refurbished. We had a room on the front of the hotel which was noisy as the policeman was under our window chatting to someone and on his radio. We, however, slept soundly enough. The breakfast was just right to set us up for Machu Picchu.

This is my second time in Cusco and we decided to try a different hotel. This hotel was way too noisy and right where the intersection crosses. At night you could hear all the cars since the walls of the hotel were glass! I would not recommend this hotel! It's also far from the main square with a uphill 25 minute walk. I wished I reserved my previous hotel from 2 years ago, Casa Elana. Quiet and near the main square. The only good thing about this hotel was that they took care of all our transportation, tours, and train tickets to the various sites we requested for a reasonable cost.

The room does not have noise insulation,
I was able to hear outside noise from the traffic and people outside, from the hallway and the other rooms.
The room was clean but too small, part of the bed was in front of the bathroom, I bumped my knee coming out of the bathroom.
At night the room was very cold,
The room had large floor to ceiling glass windows which were not covered completely by thin curtains.
I was placed on the fourth floor even after I had told them I was having a difficult time walking because of the high altitude.
