I stayed in Cusco for a month and have stayed at Midori Hotel pretty much the entire time. Initially, I had planned to stay at a more affordable hostel around Plaza de Armas. The first night turned out to be a total disaster (the hostel is on a street with a dance club and the music and screaming last till...

Hotels up a steep hill from the plaza on what seems to be like a back ally way. This "road" is cobbled and did wake me up once when someone was dragging a cart up it. Inside, the hotel is beautiful and staff extremely helpful. Welcoming drinks nice. Rooms are spacious. No bath, no tea/coffee facility. Wooden flooring somewhat noisy...

We got a reservation at the last minute when our trek was canceled. Consequently the first night we had a really small room. The next two nights they moved us to a really nice room. The hotel is a short couple of blocks from the main square. It is on a narrow one way street so when we were picked...

This is a small hotel located walking distance from the Plaza de Armas and many shops and restaurants. The front desk staff are nice and they always have a stock of bottled water for 2 soles available. WIFI is also free. The only issue that caused us not to rate the hotel a little higher is the noise level near...

Be prepared for the altitude in Cusco. Don't do too much and take your medication. This is a great little hotel on a nice quiet street. The front staff is very friendly. The rooms are quaint. You have your own personal heater. TV is ok---but you shouldn't be in watching TV. Get out and enjoy Cusco. You are so close...

It's a charming little place in a beautiful restored colonial hose, it has everything that you'll need while exploring one of the most important historic places in the world. It has excellent location!!! As soon as you walk in the staff will welcome you with mate de...

We stayed a total of three nights here at the Hotel Midori. It's very nice inside, with a pleasant covered courtyard in the middle. The breakfast was very good, featuring eggs, breads, and a number of fruits. The staff was uniformly friendly and, e.g., helped us with restaurant reservations. The location is good, just a block off the Plaza de...

Brilliant,Very clean and comfortable, we had a quiet twin at the rear. Excellent location 200m up from main square, typical courtyard house, very good breakfast available from 5.30am, staff all very friendly, free coca tea anytime. Just up around the corner from the hotel is a fab little bar/cafe, Kukuly, Local prices, mains 8-20sol, great food and jazz, we ate...

I only had one concern with the Midori Hotel but once someone filled me in on the fact that the rainbow flag hanging over the entrance is actually the flag of Cusco, I was good. This hotel is only steps from the main square, although to warn you, every one of those steps are UP! A fantastic litte place to...
