The location couldn't get any better. It was right in the center of town. The hostel was fairly clean and the staff was helpful. The biggest concern was the noise. Every night groups of people would gather early in the morning to wait to be picked up for their trek and we would be awake until they left.

I'm a first time international traveller and this hotel was a great experience. Especially after the Machu Picchu hike. It was very comforting to come back to a hot shower and warm bed. The view from our room was spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is amazing - 2 min walk to to center of Cusco (Plaza da Armas) and the place is clean with friendly staff. if you are looking for a fun hostel to meet people though this is not that kinda of place - it is more of a hotel in this sense. The rooms are simple but clean and...

Stayed there 2 nights before heading on the 4 day Inca trail to Machu Picchu. The place is clean, they make your beds (not every place does in Peru), breakfast is provided, there's hot water 24x7, coca tea available 24x7, and good wi-fi - basically everything you need. The location is great, just 50 metres from the main square of...

This is a solid choice among an array of bad hostals in a tourist hot spot. The hostal was very clean and the rooms well decorated with nice atmosphere. It is about a 2 minute walk from the Plaza De Armas/center of the city. There are several rooms with very good views although ours didn't have a view. The service...

I had a very good experience at El Triunfo. PROS: Internet is good. Location is right in the heart of the city, right-by Plaza de Armas. Place has breakfast. Clean. Staff is very helpful and very polite. GREAT PRICE. CONS: The nearby night life can be loud for sleeping, depending on the room.

The strongest point of El Triunfo is it's location. Just a few steps from Plaza de Armas and from Plazoleta Nazarenas and the good restaurants around. Norma and Giovana are very attencious and made me feel at home. The rooms are clean, the shower is wonderful and the wifi worked all the time. The only "but" is the breakfast that...

Stayed here mid-September and the private room on the second floor was big with a private bathroom and a great view out the window. It was super clean, staff was mostly friendly, and the location is great — it's super close to the Plaza De Armas (but far enough away to not be loud). Breakfast was simple but good enough...

I stayed two non-consecutive nights in two separate rooms (double and triple) before and after a trip to Machu Picchu. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at El Triunfo and would highly recommend. The rooms were comfortable and seemed recently upgraded with modern furnishings. They were clean and spacious and the bathrooms were gorgeous. The WiFi was a little spotty at...

The room was very big, nice hot water. Friendly staff. Very close to main square. On its top floor can view the Cusco city, very pretty. I asked them to find me a taxi to airport and the taxi arrived on time. Great experience.
