We stayed at this Hostal three different times while on a recent 3 week trip to Peru. I can not say enough good things about Amaru in San Blas , Ideal location, great spots to eat , shop and explore . Rooms were very comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water. I especially loved the two courtyards where...

The location is great, just a couple of blocks from the Plaza de Armas, so it's near restaurants and shopping. It's located in an original building although some of it may be a recent add-on.The staff are friendly and English speaking, and will keep valuables for you. Our room was in front off the first courtyard, but was surprisingly very...

We spent 4 nights here in total prior to doing the Inca trail. Excellent location with close proximity to the city centre & nice clean rooms. Breakfast was sufficient with plenty of coca tea on offer to help you acclimatise. We would stay here again.

We stayed here two nights in september and 1 night in october. Last night before returning back to Europe. we had the room immediately behind the reception. 101. Terrible. You hear every one who goes out / comes in at the hotel. Also, there are constantly people at the reception. Phone rings. Try to avoid this room. the room has...

The first 2 nights we stayed here we were in a tiny room right off the front courtyard. The room was small and you could hear every move each one of your neighbors made. The last night we stayed here we were in Room 215 and it was beautiful! A gorgeous view of Cusco, a nice large room, our own...

This almost anonymous small budget hotel is located on a narrow paved and quiet street of the bohemiam and elevated San Blas district very conveniently located a short walk away from the Plaza de Armas main central square. Entering you will find a very cosy with the definite ambiance of a Cusco colonial era The staff are extremely nice and...

Hostal Amaru is an old refurbished house in downtown Cusco. The location is excellent, the room are nice and have heating (it can get very cold in the winter). The staff could be more helpful, but we had no problems with them. The best about Amaru is how close it is to Plaza de Armas and to restaurants and tourist...

Located in the heart of the tourist part of the city. It's a stones throw from countless good bars and restaurants. The rooms are spotless and well decorated, with clean bathrooms and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was filling with plenty of options. The staff were very helpful. WiFi dreadfully slow.

We stayed here twice before and after our Machu Picchu trek. The first time we stayed in a standard room with a nice view of the garden. The second time arriving back from our trek they mucked up the booking and tried to put us in a small standard room right next to reception. We had booked a superior room...
