We stayed for 3 nights in room 119. The hotel is ideally located for restaurants, shopping, banks and a few minutes walk from the plaza and cathederal. There was a large party of school children in the hotel during our stay. They made a lot of noise, sometimes until 4am.Unfortunately the rather surly members of reception staff we spoke to did...

While traveling thru Cusco in early May 2010, I had the misfortune of staying at tne San Augustin International. Out of the thousands of nights I have spent in hotels in my life (I spent years traveling 5 nights a week) this was the noisiest hotel in which I have ever stayed! I had the pleasure of listening to the...

Stayed here for 5 nights during our tour of Peru. This is a great hotel with a quirky interior. Had requested twin beds but were allocated a double, decided to give it a go because they said it was a nice quiet room, but after one night we found it was too small (we are used to a super king...

I would recommend this hotel. The lobby is like a cave and it is very nice, the breakfast is great and the rooms are OK, Very clean though. We ordered room service, the food was delicious. You are a few steps from koricancha and Plaza de armas. There is a Con, there is no Minibar nor bottled water if you...

We were traveling with a group of 30 - rooms were preassigned. Some in our group were unhappy with their rooms and a switch was made immediately. The rooms were smallish by American standards, but clean and comfortable. They served an awesome continental breakfast buffet and were most accomodating. the hotel is kinda like a maze, rooms tucked into corners...

Good place to stay. I requested and got a nice quiet room in the back (traffic noise and exhaust fumes may be a problem for rooms facing the street). Good clean hotel, with good service and adequate restaurant and bar. Internet available in rooms and on free use computers in lobby office. Free breakfast buffet (arrive early around ~5am for...

This hotel is quirky. The decor seems to resemble living in a cave! All the walls are plastered irregularly with various niches etc and odd plaster like mouldings of figures and animals. Unlike the other reviewers I had no problems with noise and the sleeplessness is probably more related to altitude than hotel noise. The bedrooms were on the small...

This must be one of the worlds noisiest hotels, It has ceramic tiled passageways and doors which close with a loud bang. With guests coming and going all day and night, the rattling of trolley case wheels and peoples voices echo around the corridors. The staff make no effort to be quiet either. If you have no alternative than to use this hotel,make...

Stayed here twice on our travels around Peru. Neither was a great experience. This hotel is noisy 24/7! If it wasnt suitcases going up and down it was the breakfast music which starts pumping at around 4-5am! Or annoying Americans shouting down the corridors at each other. Or any number of a variety of annoying noises. The plumbing is dangerous...
