This is a welcoming hotel, with a hearty fire in the reception area. It is really well placed for Cusco city centre, the rooms are fine and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good and the courtyards are very relaxing. But be careful which room you get. The ones close to the road are very noisy (pedestrians, but more...

The hotel location is fabulous. But the one reason why I would stay again in Hotel Garcilaso 1 is because of its amazing staff. The property needs some renovation as it is old but the staff go out of their way to make you comfortable and fulfil your wishes all the time being wonderfully polite and helpful. I had a...

Had several nights her while in Cusco after checking out of a different hotel due to noise. Our room here was lovely and quiet, and reasonably comfortable. The staff spoke reasonable English and the location is excellent! We were happy enough staying here, but it could be improved. Our room seemed to be almost dusty, as though it was cleaned...

A friend and I stayed at Garcilaso II - there are actually two separate hotels on the same street, just a few doors down from each other. We stayed here on 3 different occasions during our time in Peru and had a great experience. The location of the hotel is perfect for many must-sees in Cuzco. We were able to...

It's literally across chocolate museum (choco museo). We stayed 2 nights with one night away in between (machu picchu tour). One time we stayed on 2nd floor and WiFi didn't work well, the second time on 1st floor it worked well. Breakfast is buffet style it's 5-10 and they have variety of food. I like the staff there, very friendly....

The heating equipment has not enough power to heat well. Wireless does not work properly. Most of times signal is low. About Breakfast, there isn't a good bread or a cake. Cheese is very salty. They offer a "pure coffe" that you shall mix with water, but it will not taste well.

I booked this hotel because our hotel, Best Western was fully booked & this hotel is just across the street. Stayed here just a night after our 4D/3N hike. (Lucky just a night) Unfriendly & unhelpful receptionist. Free wifi was not working in the room. (Only works in lobby) room was quite spacious but very bad condition. Wall sockets were...

Hotel Garcilaso 2 is a great hotel! We used this hotel as our home base in Cusco as we traveled to the Amazon and to Machu Picchu and they were so helpful and accommodating. They stored our luggage for free, answered any questions we had about traveling around Peru, and even helped us call our tour company since we did...

A typical Cusco hotel. Located close to the Plaza de Armas and all the museuns and restaurants. Big rooms and confortable beds. They serve a very nice breakfast, with lots of good fruits. The hotel has wifi, but only at the common areas. The rooms dont have wifi. They still use carpet on the floor. This should be changed. It...

We stayed here for 3 nights in total, 2 before the inca trail trek and 1 after. Rooms were spacious and warm. The hotel stored our cases whilst we were on the trek and they were in our room on return. Wi-fi a bit hit and miss and the breakfasts were ok but no fresh eggs. Courtyard and tables to...
