This hotel is popular with G Adventures travellers about to embark on the Inca Trail. It’s also very conveniently located in the centre of Cusco near Plaza de Armas. The rooms are well decorated and comfortable. A tasty and fairly priced breakfast is also available to all guests.

It is very cosy and pleasant hotel. It is near Inca museum and near the Main Square, with Internet and restaurants. The Jacks restaurant is near by. The breakfast at hotel is only 6 soles (a pound) worthwhile for that price. The laundry is 5 soles for a kilo (about 85 p) The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is good base if you are going for Inca trail as they store yr luggage. I had a lovely stay at the hotel as it is in good location to explore cusco (I really enjoyed cusco).

Located in the corner of a nice square and the main square is very close (one block). The rooms are basic but nice, we had no complains. There is a place where you can have breakfast or relax in the middle of the hotel. Breakfast was basic but ok: 2 juices, jam, ceareales, jam, coffee, tea and fruit. It is expensive comparing to other cities in Peru but ok for Cuzco. Many English speaking tourists and the personnel speaks english too.
Great tip: If you come out of the hotel, go to the right. If you turn to the right at that corner of the square you will find at your right hand a very nice restaurant (there we had the best food from Peru and Bolivia). It is upstairs a clothing shop.

We stayed here as part of our G Adventures trip. Although the staff were really nice- the room itself was very disappointing.

There was coca tea freely available which was a nice touch and the reception and courtyard were really nice.

But our room was very disappointing. It was very dark, stuffy and airless. When we opened the window to let a bit of air in we realised it opened onto a closed space about 2 foot wide - which was roofed- the window itself served no function as there was no fresh air to get in anyway. We could also hear every time our neighbours coughed or used the bathroom. We only stayed for one night so it was fine- but I wouldn’t recommend more than that- perhaps they have mixers rooms but we were quite disappointed with ours.
The hotel location is great though.

We stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour, which seems to be the only reason people come. The only redeeming thing about this place is the lovely staff and the location. It is ridiculously , overpriced ($55 per night), you can do much better for half the price in Cuzco. The rooms are bare but clean, extremely stuffy due to the glass courtyard, and very very noisy. People wake up here at 5am to go on tours every morning, and you will hear them. Even if you manage to sleep through it all, you might get an unsolicited wakeup call at 5am, as did I. The breakfasts are, like most in South America, stale bread and jam. This place wouldnt exist if it wasnt for tour groups. Stay somewhere else.

It may be advertised as a Hotel but it is worse than a backpackers hostel. Travel agencies such as Tucan travel arrange for its tour members to stay here. As a person who has travelled worldwide, I have the pleasure to say that this is the worst ever place I have stayed (and trust me I have been to some very dubious places). The TV's didn't work properly, the bathrooms were covered in a green mould, the floor boards creaked, the beds uncomfortable and worst of all you can't sleep as there are constantly cars beeping throughout the night when they are picking up hikers. You pay 7 soles for breakfast which consists of stale bread and some other unediable stuff. This is not an exaggeration, it is seriously a very bad place...

We stayed here twice. A couple of nights before going to Machu Picchu and one night after. The first stay was great, clean room, hot shower with a lot of pressure. Second time was a much poorer experience. No shower pressure and no hot water at all. Staff was nice, decent breakfast. Great location. They also stored out luggage while we took the trip to Machu Picchu.

Booked this hotel to learn more about the great Inca Empire. Staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. We had a great view from our window. I just wished the heaters would really warm the room. Everything else was great. WiFi was awesome!!!

Amazingly romantic hotel, intimate setting, nice restaurants, impeccable service, perfect location within short walking distance of main square, shops, restaurants.
Part of the hotel is built atop, and features Incan walls/ floors. Some rooms even have extra oxygen pumped into the room to help with high altitude adjustments. Has one of the very few pools in cusco. Don't miss the coco tea.

The views from rooms on the top floor over the city (like mine was) are brilliant but the rooms on the ground floor have next to no natural light.

Our bathroom generally had hot water and the room was clean and tidy. However the beds creak a lot!! Which is very irritating.

Breakfast was to an acceptable standard with bread, coffee, tea, cheese and eggs to order.

The hotel is in a very good central location close to the main square.

I generally didn't find the Front desk staff helpful. Despite my best efforts they struggled to understand me in English and spanish. And took a longtime to address problems.

There was also a significant problem where they didn't book suficient rooms for the whole of our tour group. When we returned from the Inca trail.

I used this hotel with my tour group but wouldn't choose it as an individual traveller.
