We stayed three nights. The mid evening check-in was impersonal and slapdash. We didn't feel as if we were either expected or welcome (although our luggage had been forwarded on and was in the lobby when we arrived). We were not given our complementary drinks voucher with any ceremony or explanation, and were expected to find the Internet wifi password...

Stayed 3 nights total, in a triple (3 beds) room. Very nice hotel with a lovely courtyard. Good breakfast buffet in the mornings that opens early (4:30?) for those having to make the train to Machu Picchu. Scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, breads, cold meats, cheese, cereal, etc. Does have an elevator, but you have some steps...

The hotel is great, nice rooms good breakfast, excellent location and friendly staff. My only complaint is about the shuttle service to and from the airport. Once of the reasons I chose this hotel is because they advertise they offer shuttle service but when I was going back to the airport they simply said: "sorry, the unit is in maintenance"....

We stayed here on two occasions. The first night was great. We got a room on the first floor and everything went well. The location is awesome, so close to the square and restaurants and churches. On our second stay, we were put in a room upstairs and it was noisy throughout the night. Apparently, there was a party going...

The first room we had was on the third floor and very noisy - you could hear the people going up and down the elevator but the room was clean and the service was average. The second time we stayed on the ground floor, once again the noise of people coming and going was disturbing. Breakfasts were average and the...

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel . The rooms were modern and clean . They provide with 2 free water bottles . The front desk staff can speak English and we're very kind and courteous. The location is in the middle of the town and it takes around 15/20 minutes to the airport . It gives a good...

We had such a wonderful experience. As a foreigner, they welcomed me and made us feel Peruvian from the moment we walked in. Walter had greeted us and escorted us throughout our entire stay, he is wonderful Additionally we were welcomed with warm drinks at colder altitudes and we met the most adorable alpaca, named Pablito that made the experience...

This hotel is a great place to stay when you travel to Cusco. It is at a very convenient location. Their breakfast starts very early in the morning (4:30am) and we benefited from that. Their free airport pickup was a bit hard to book, but it is available. Because they are so close to the city, the place does get...

Another lovely hotel on our South American Odyssey. My wife suffering from the altitude, so not a good traveller at this point. But we couldn't fault the hotel on anything. Old-fashioned, but beautifully maintained. Loved the inner courtyard. Another spacious room, with a large, comfy bed. Stayed for 2 nights, room service each night, and delicious breakfasts. Walking distance to...

Located in the historical centre of Cusco a walking distance from the main square close to all the bars, restaurants and shops. Stayed here over Christmas and had an amazing experience watch how the locals celebrate at the square, which became a huge open air market, during the festive season. The hotel is a colonial heritage property with a lovely...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel Costa del Sol Ramada is located in a colonial-era mansion that is considered part of the cultural heritage of the city of Cusco. The building dates back to the 17th century, when the Marquis de Picoaga arrived in the city and built himself a new home, employing stonework and murals. The hotel is divided between a colonial wing and a contemporary wing, combining stone archways, a beautiful patio, a fountain and original murals dating from the architecture of the 17th century with all the comforts of a modern, contemporary hotel. The rooms have been designed for the comfort of the guests and are spacious, peaceful and fully equipped. They have Wi-Fi internet connections, cable television, direct dial telephones, safe deposit boxes and a mini-bar. The hotel conserves all the beauty of an old colonial mansion and provides the welcoming service that will make you feel special during every day of your stay with us. ... more   less
