In the Historic Centre, easy access to walking tours. Pleasantly decorated rooms and lobby. Breakfast is great. Unfortunate a couple of the senior staff were unnecessarily rude. rest were fine and it was a surprise as Peruvians are normally polite, friendly and helpful, particularity hotel staff.

Great location, close to the main square as well as many restaurants and shops. Very nice hotel, great breakfast included in our room price. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet, stayed 4 nights and would definitely stay again if I return to Cusco. Very helpful staff, kept our luggage for 4 days while we hiked the Inca Trail. Also...

Let me preface this by saying that I am NOT a picky traveler. Naturally, this place far exceeded my expectations. The rooms have all of the creature comforts you would expect. The building is historical but the amenities are modern. The breakfast was nothing exceptional but there was something available for most tastes. The staff was extremely helpful in making...

Stayed here 4 nights. It is well located and in a charming building. Loved the courtyard and baby alpacha. Room was very dark and the carpet was tired. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good and they did eggs to order.loved the fact they opened from 4.30 pm. This hotel is such superb value...

We stayed here 2 nights, once before going to Macchu Picchu and once on the way back. The hotel staff was friendly, flexible, easy to communicate with and the food was excellent. The rooms were clean, modern and everything you needed for a good nights sleep. The hotel also stored your bigger bags for the trip to MP. Excellent value,...

It is a charming old colonial building with an inner courtyard converted into a hotel. The location couldn't have been better- less than five minutes walking distance to the Plaza de Armas. The staff were really nice, and check-in and check-out were efficient. The beds were not the most comfortable. The breakfast was good, but not great. The restaurant did...

We stayed three nights. The mid evening check-in was impersonal and slapdash. We didn't feel as if we were either expected or welcome (although our luggage had been forwarded on and was in the lobby when we arrived). We were not given our complementary drinks voucher with any ceremony or explanation, and were expected to find the Internet wifi password...

Stayed 3 nights total, in a triple (3 beds) room. Very nice hotel with a lovely courtyard. Good breakfast buffet in the mornings that opens early (4:30?) for those having to make the train to Machu Picchu. Scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, breads, cold meats, cheese, cereal, etc. Does have an elevator, but you have some steps...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel Costa del Sol Ramada is located in a colonial-era mansion that is considered part of the cultural heritage of the city of Cusco. The building dates back to the 17th century, when the Marquis de Picoaga arrived in the city and built himself a new home, employing stonework and murals. The hotel is divided between a colonial wing and a contemporary wing, combining stone archways, a beautiful patio, a fountain and original murals dating from the architecture of the 17th century with all the comforts of a modern, contemporary hotel. The rooms have been designed for the comfort of the guests and are spacious, peaceful and fully equipped. They have Wi-Fi internet connections, cable television, direct dial telephones, safe deposit boxes and a mini-bar. The hotel conserves all the beauty of an old colonial mansion and provides the welcoming service that will make you feel special during every day of your stay with us. ... more   less
