The best in town. Rooms, restaurants and hospitality are the trade of the hotel. The pisco class with the sommelier Tommy in the bar is amazing . He teaches the diference among the piscos and help us to prepare a lot of cocktails with them.

Today I have taken part in an amazing experience. Tommy our bartender has taught us all about pisco history and all of its extent. Thanks to his humour and his friendliness we were able to enjoy a wonderfull evening. I recomend this to all guests.

We didn't stay at Belmond Hotel Monasterio, but we stopped by for a drink after dinner. My friend and I sat in the beautiful courtyard by a firepit listening to opera music floating over from the restaurant. A wonderful employee named Franciso made us very comfortable, brought us blankets, snacks, and delicious pisco sours, and told us all about Cusco,...

This property is so charming in itself with lots of Belmond kicks added in. The rooms are huge and comfortable by standard, and we were there in winter and the heat was great not like some of the converted hotels that has heating problems. We loved the fact that we could call room service anytime for the pisco sour service...

The Monasterio is housed along the small Plaza de Nazarenas about two blocks from the Plaza de Armas and the center of town. Located in an old monastery with touches from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the Belmond was the first to bring true five star living to Cusco. The coup de grace is the added oxygen in some of...

Staying at the Belmond Hotel Monasterio was a true delight. From the beautifully appointed rooms, to the sumptuous grounds, the excellent food, and the impeccable service, this is a truly luxurious experience. We arrived late (11PM) from our visit to Machu Picchu....upon our arrival we were greeted by the hotel manager and promptly and personally escorted through the manicured gardens to our charming accommodations. This particular room had extra oxygen piped in to assure a pleasant night sleep.... taking into consideration the 11,000+ foot altitude. All of our meals were exceptional.....breakfast even...

Stayed at Monestario for four nights combined with one night at Machu Picchu. We got one of the Presidential suites facing a private courtyard with a little fountain. The sound of the water and the smell of spring made our suite experience relaxing and comfortable. The suite has a large bathroom equiped with a tub and a shower. A nice...
