This was the most expensive hostel we booked on our trip, but turned out to be one of the worst we stayed in while being in Peru. We stayed there 2 nights We were given a big room on the ground floor which was very cold, windows weren't sealed good enough and the whole room smelled with some kind of...

We were at Casa de mi Abuelo for two nights and we were so happy with Mama and Papa as I call them. (I can't remember their names) We had a situation that we needed help with and they were able to navigate us through it and make everything happen that needed to happen. We had troubles finding the hostel...

We stayed there for two lats of five days broken by a tour to Machu Picchu. The room was a nice size and very clean (cleaned daily). The breakfast was good with juice, fruit, bread and jam, eggs how you like and selection of teas or coffee. The staff were lovely and always tried to please. Their English skills varied...

Great cosy small hostel with wonderful owner and staff. We stayed here with our 2 little girls. For Cusco it is in the lower end price scale and on a value for money scale it definitely over delivers. Don't get me wrong it is not 5 star luxury but the hostel provides good, clean and tidy facilities. A great hot...

The hostel is located close to the vibrant city centre. Our hosts are very friendly and speak broken but manageable English. There are drinks available to buy and the rooms are spacious and well kept for what you pay. I highly recommend this for anyone who is brand new to Cusco and travelling on a budget.

We stayed here the night prior to heading to hike the Inca trial. We arrived a little later in the evening because we had to meet at the Alpaca expedition office to go over our trip. The hostel was very clean and we had three rooms upstairs. There was no toilet paper in the rooms but we were given some...

Really good hotel. Very cozy, clean and quiet. The lady that manages this place is a open book. You can ask her about anything and everything and she will know! We are backpacking and she knew about the best options and prices of, not only Cusco and treks to Machupicchu, but also bus tickets, Puno, want to see, what do...

Nice people, warming accommodations, and the most relaxing place you'd want closest to Downtown Cusco. They pick you up from the airport up to 7 people and their luggage and they offer breakfast and lunch. #blessed

My 3 friends and I stayed at La Casa de mi Abuelo Hostel for five nights in early July 2015. We stayed here for 2 nights before our 5-day trek to Machu Picchu and then decided to stay here for our last 3 nights in Cusco as well. (They generously let us know leave our extra luggage with them while...

This place is great for travelers looking for a clean and inexpensive place. The staff was absolutely amazing! If you get a chance ask the owner how this place came about, its a great story. Grocery store is about a 5 minute walk downhill, and the city center is about a 10 minute walk.
