Stayed in this hostel for 4/5 days. A good and chill vibe. Manuel the owner is a really friendly guy, open for conversation and loves to help you when needed. Great kitchen, good hot showers, great view over the city from the rooftop. San Blas is a really nice neighborhood that has a lot to offer. Culture, nice restaurants and...

poor customer service. Starting with they never knew we were booked. Took 10min to open the gate. We were in a room with no wifi, no ventilation, and it stunk. Only 1 shower in the place had hot water. Booked a day tour through them, told us was a hotel pick up, at time of pick up told us pick...

I've stayed in hostels all over the world and even all over Cusco, but this one is the best. With in credible views, it's not hard to get out of bed in the morning, but if sleeping in is your preference, the calm atmosphere of the hostel will fully allow that as well. The location is just perfect - close...

Really enjoyed my stay here. Manu (who runs the hostel) is great and has a cool place going. Good atmosphere without being a heavy party place, and they have an attached restaurant with a bar as well. The hilltop location gives great views on the terrace, too. Definitely recommend!

I stayed a couple of days in the Sunset House and came later back to volunteer there for some time. First of all I can say that the location of the hostel is awesome especially for people who want to relax or do trekking as it is not a party hostel. It lies a little up in the beautiful artist...

Collectively, my girlfriend and I have stayed in many hostels over the years. Never have the staff been so friendly, so helpful, so caring and so genuinely interested in our well being as they are at Sunset House. We stayed here over 2 weeks and felt at home. The staff's good nature was shown when the owner Manu and Noemi,...

We stayed at Sunset House for 2 weeks altogether in a 2 bed dorm. The rooms had lockers, the beds were comfy and lots of blankets were provided for the the cold cusco nights. The bathrooms were clean and there are hot showers ( in the morning and evening). The kitchen has all the utensils you would need and includes...

I recently stayed at Sunset House Backpackers for approx. one month in a four bed dorm. The hostel was positioned in a beautiful part of Cusco in San Blas which is close proximity to the Plaza d'Armes. The hostel featured a great roof terrace with views to Cusco and an in house restaurant that served excellent food. The staff Manuel,...

After checking into the hostel I was recommended to eat at the restaurant by a friend who had stayed their previously. I took him up on his offer and headed to the restaurant, it was cosy inside and well decorated with murals. The waitress seated me immediately and gave me a menu, after browsing through the many unique dishes I...

We stumbled upon this cute little hostel as we explored the back streets of the cool artsy area of San Blas. We had a very memorable meal on their lovely terrace with views across the whole of the valley, sumptuous fresh (and healthy) food, super friendly staff and a really cool vibe. A definite highlight of a very special place.
