We went to their sister hotel, Wasichay, initially but they were booked. They called this hotel to see if their was room, which they said there was, then we booked and took a taxi over. Upon arrival we were given our room and unpacked and were about to take a shower when they knocked on our door and said they...

Firstly we really enjoyed the location this hostal offered. Just off of all the main area but close enough to walk a couple mins. It was nice. It was a bit of an uphill climb but everything is in Cusco. The staff was very friendly here and the matrimonial beds were large! They pushed 2 regular beds together it was...

After a mishap at the airport, my travel group and I had to stay an unexpected extra two days in Cusco. The first night all we could find was a Hotel that cost about $80 per night. Stayed approximately a week here at the equivalent of $33 per night. The room was clean, the sheets were soft, the towels clean and soft to the touch. The bathroom was newly furnished and very clean. I looked forward to the complimentary breakfast (fruit, cafe con leche, bread, eggs, and jam) every morning. The owner and all staff was nice...

Before I made the reservation (stopped in) I checked and made sure they took American Express. They said yes no problem. When I checked out a few days later they asked me to wait a few minutes. Shortly a lady came in and she told me to follow her. With my backpack, I am now following which amounted to more...

I arrived in Cusco to find that my reserved hotel room had been given away. In a panic, I explored several other locations until I found Hostal Huaynapata. Luis, an employee, graciously showed me two choices for a room. He made me tea and helped me with my luggage. My room was clean, the staff quite helpful, and the hostal...
