I used this hotel as a stop-over on the way to Machu Pichu. It felt like a hostel as opposed to a hotel. The rooms were reasonably priced, basic with a bed and extra blankets for Cusco's cold evenings and a simple breakfast. The concierge-...More
They were very accommodating. We came to hike the Inca trail. They held our luggage, and it was waiting in our new room when we returned. The made ice for me to nurse my sore knee after the trek. Rooms were clean, wifi was available,...More
On the last part of our journey in Peru we were exhausted, and in pain from all the hiking. We decided to spend a little more than normal and just relax at the hotel for the following day and a half. We were very happy...More

The staff was wonderful, very helpful! The hotel was very clean and safe. Within walking distance to the square. Great breakfast spread and plenty of coca tea. They stored out luggage for us when we went on tours.

Our stop in Cusco was part of a larger 6 month trip so in general, we have been avoiding tours and making most plans on our own. Having said that, there are so many options for Machu Pichu, and the gentleman at the little tour desk in the lobby was immensely helpful. If we were booking tours, I would have used him. Oyantantambo was a favorite stop for us in the Sacred Valley- there is hiking to two sets of ruins there. We stayed in La Abuela hostel there( a little out of the main square) and it was lovely. Enjoy your trip- it will be amazing.
