Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful hotel. Super clean walking distance to everywhere. Breakfast delicious and the service was excellent specially by Marycielo and Raquel.
We recommend it because its decoration is also unique. We’ll definitely be back.

Casona Corrales and their staff is hands down the best place you can stay in Cusco. They go above and beyond to help and support their customers.

I got myself into trouble in Peru where I was robbed of my phone, wallet and cash. The staff went above and beyond to help me get in contact with people via the use of their phones, social media accounts and so forth. This helped me massively, as I was alone in Cusco. It enabled me to contact friends who could help, it helped me even try and contact my stolen phone and get its location etc. They also booked taxis for me to the airports and paid for them. They provided me food and water when I had no means of purchasing anything for myself.

When Latam rejected me from boarding my flight home from Peru becuase they had technical issues with their system. I had no other place to turn to than Casona Corrales. Although they were surprised to see me back at the hotel again, they assisted me in everyway possible to get a room for the night. They even booked and paid a room for me through themselves as I had no means of paying, and sent a paypal link to my family back home.

Apart from the trouble I experienced. From a normal perspective of a guest. The staff were lovely, friendly and genuine. Always polite to me, always checking if I had a an excursion the next day so they could make a packed lunch for me, always saying hello and smiling. The hotel itself is nice, comfortable beds, room service everyday and there is central heating (which is hard to come by in Cusco sometimes)!

Massive shout out to all the staff, I love you all and are indebted to you.

If you are seeing this review and you're thinking of staying somewhere for a very fair price, close to the centre and somewhere you will be looked after. Forget the Hilton hotel, forget the Palacio de Inka and forget the JW Marriott.

I was very excited for my stay at the Casona Corrales hotel. I really wanted to enjoy my stay, but my boyfriend was unfortunately scammed by them.

When he arrived the WiFi wasn’t working for the credit card machine so Rosia asked for $250 usd cash. My boyfriend gave the cash.

The next day, Rosia pretended that she was never given the cash and Roger (the manager) backed up her claim. They refused to look at their security cameras to prove my boyfriend handed over the cash. Instead they tried to charge us double.

I wouldn’t stay here unless you want to risk getting scammed.

We booked this hotel for two separate nights, May 30 and June 2, 2020. We chose it because of its convenient location, style of the hotel, the amenities and the services promised. Communication was very good in the beginning with great English. Then the Covid-19 began, our flight to Peru was cancelled and we had to cancel everything that had been booked as a result. Once I started asking to cancel and a refund, the communication became extremely brief and they then acted like English was almost unknown. They told me in a few words that the reservation was cancelled. I inquired 3 times and it was always the same answer without addressing the refund. I don't think they ever really cancelled the reservation, because I kept getting email requests from Bookings.com to complete a survey about our stay. We had to pre-pay the full amount for 2-nights and we never received an answer. On almost all our pre-bookings; airfare, trains and hotels we received a full refund. Not this place. I would advise everyone not to book with this hotel, they do not have good customer service and will keep all your money whether you stay there or not.

Localização excelente!! Bem central.
Um show!! Você não se sente mais um hóspede no hotel! Você é tratado com toda a atenção e suporte do mundo! Para quem viaja isso é ouro!!!
Um agradecimento especial a meninas Marycielo e Mashel!!! Voltarei!!!

Excellent location!! Very central. You are close to everything, you can go walking. There is a small market next door, where you can buy some basic items. Spectacular breakfast. On tour days, you can order a snack box to take with you on the tour instead of breakfast. Very well structured room, bed with very good mattress, clean bathroom with a wonderful shower. Always clean and tidy!
You can find similar hotels in Cusco, but what makes the difference is the attention and affection of the girls who are at this hotel!!! Whatever you needed, they would solve it for you. I had a serious flight cancellation problem with the airline, they helped me resolve it! They called a taxi and made an appointment if necessary! You no longer feel like a guest at the hotel! You are treated with all the attention and support in the world! For those who travel abroad this is make a total difference!!!
A special thanks to the girls Marycielo and Mashel!!! Congrats! I will be back!!!

When you enter Casona Corrales, you are not entering a hotel but a vintage colonial hacienda.
The reception is located in a sublime patio overlooked by magnificent wooden and carpeted passageways. The ideal place to enjoy, in peace, the different varieties of teas offered in self-service.
The rooms and public places are decorated with refinement, wooden furniture and period paintings. The bedding is very comfortable.
The parquet floors in the rooms sometimes creak, but isn’t that the charm of a period boutique hotel?
The hotel is ideally located in the historic center of Cusco, a few dozen meters from the parade ground and the heart of the city.
We spent 3 exceptional nights in this timeless jewel.
The staff is extremely friendly, always attentive but above all we would like to send our most sincere thanks to Maryasol at reception who was unparalleled in her empathy and kindness in the face of the different twists and turns of our trip as well. as well as technical problems (television, room door, etc.) that we encountered at the hotel. Each time, Maryasol was there for us.
Thank you to her for making our stay an enchanted break.
She is undoubtedly the star of the hotel.
Delilah and Nicholas
