Perfect at the Tierra Viva Hotel: - the rooms - the matrasses (slept like in heaven) - the staff - the free tea Location (5-10 Minutes walk to the Cathedral (City Center)) and breakfast buffet were almost perfect. Stay there and you won't regret it!

The wonderful staff at this hotel went out of their way to assist us in every way possible - from bringing oxygen to the room for my husband who had altitude sickness to giving us a quiet room, to finding a room for us when I had mixed up our return date from the Inca Trail. We had originally booked...

First time in Peru and totally enjoyed Cusco--especially the service front the Tierra Viva Cusco Saphi staff….always friendly, helpful---philosophy of how can I help….They even brought up a cup of tea when I was carrying a bunch of bags, and didn't feel too well.

Wonderful hotel. The staff was so friendly, helpful and efficient. Cudos to Madelaine, her sister and the rest of the staff - wonderful. I did not have to worry about transportation to and from the airport and train station as they arranged everything and even told me cost of ride. Breakfast was just enough to get us going for the...

I did not have a very high expectation when I first booked this, but I was pleasantly surprised by how charming this little hotel is. The rooms were very clean and the hotel had a small courtyard with a fountain. Breakfast is included which makes it very convenient for early risers to start hiking and exploring Cusco. Near the check-in...

Wonderful hotel in Cuzco. The rooms were large, airy, and very clean. The beds are comfortable and the showers are really nice. The staff was lovely and very helpful - responding to all kinds of questions, calling cabs and negotiating the rate, etc. Breakfast was quite good and the 24-hour muna and coca tea very appreciated. Only helpful addition would...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our hotel in Cusco is located in what used to be an elegant colonial residence. Throughout the hotel you’ll find a charming contrast between this imperial city’s rich history and modern convenience and comfort. Our spacious rooms are an invitation to rest, offering the ideal place to refuel and start a new day of exploration and discovery. As was characteristic in large colonial residences, our hotel has two interior patios where our guests can relax during a sunny afternoon or enjoy a soft breeze at the end of the day. ... more   less
