Our hotel in Cusco is located in what used to be an elegant colonial residence. Throughout the hotel you’ll find a charming contrast between this imperial city’s rich history and modern convenience and comfort. Our spacious rooms are an invitation to rest, offering the ideal place to refuel and start a new day of exploration and discovery. As was characteristic in large colonial residences, our hotel has two interior patios where our guests can relax during a sunny afternoon or enjoy a soft breeze at the end of the day.

I stayed in two of their locations in Cusco. I loved both of them. Both locations were within 10 minutes walking to the center of Cusco. The customer service was great. The room was super clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. Just be mindful that their central location the rooms facing the street might get noisy. But their sapi location is in a much quieter street.

Terra Vivia Saphi in Cusco is a small quaint hotel. However, its service is exceptional. There was an issue with the hot water and heater in the room. Both were taken care of promptly when we got back from our day tour. I stayed in one evening and asked for coffee ,milk and toast and it was delivered to me with no extra charge. I am impressive with their breakfast spread. I will definitely stay here again.

We booked one night and ended up staying 15 nights in the chain's 3 hotels in Cusco. Thanks to the teamwork of the network staff in all three hotels who made sure to find the available space in one of the hotels and move our equipment in a responsible and efficient manner. The breakfast in all three hotels is good and tasty, the staff works with love and efficiency

Among all the Tierra Viva hotels I've stayed at in Peru, this one was my least favorite. Having booked at the last minute, we were forced to pay for a suite, which looked exactly like a normal room except for a tiny, dark two-square-meter sitting area. In the second room we booked, we noticed an unpleasant smell as soon as we entered, which stayed with us throughout our stay. The sink faucet was broken and sprayed everywhere, making it impossible to wash your hands without taking a shower... I don't see how you can offer customers a room when you are aware of these problems. Overall, the location felt more like a motel than a chain of good quality hotels.

First of all you can’t beat the price for all that goodness you get from Tierra Viva Saphi. Tierra Viva has such a beautiful and cozy interior design and the cleanliness is superb!! I love my stay there and my interaction with two warm front-desk staffs Jimmy and Angel; they are incredibly helpful with traveling tips and room services and made me feel like at home immediately. Looking forward to coming back one day!

We really enjoyed our 5 nights here. The hotel is close to the centre of Cusco but our courtyard room at the back of the hotel was spacious and quiet. The staff were all really helpful and the setting was lovely in an historic stone building with vaulted ceilings

We have been travelling in Peru for 15 days. We spent 6 nights in total in this lovely little hotel in Cusco. 4 nights initially and then returned for a further 2 nights following an overnight trip to Machu Picchu. Our room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. 207, was on the second floor overlooking the main road and it was so quiet we requested the same room for when we returned from our trip. The hotel is full of character and the staff are fantastic. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. Great hotel and excellent value for money.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights before we did the Inca Trail and one more night after we’d done it. We booked our accommodation through Audley Travel who booked us in a superior room. The staff were extremely friendly and both the rooms we had were clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. It was only about 10 minutes walk to the square in Cuzco so great location too. We’d definitely stay again if we were to visit again. Fabulous.

We just came back from Peru and had the great pleasure of staying at Tierra Viva Saphi. All we can say about this place is absolutely positive. It's a beautiful and well decorated hotel handled by a terrific staff that makes you feel very much at home. It is extremely clean and it also includes a very nice breakfast which is served every morning with a variety of pastries, cold cuts, cheese, beverages, etc. We were completely satisfied with the quality of Tierra Viva Saphi, and definitely hope to stay with them again in the near future. Our compliments!!

Dear suzannev42, Thank you for your interest in Tierra Viva! Our mattresses are an average between soft and firm because we try to have a good option that can be adequate for all guests. However I must say that if you need a really soft mattres, ours will not be an appropiate option. If you can deal with an intermediate level, I am sure you will have a great experience with us.
