Stayed here after visiting Machu Picchu. Rooms had no exterior windows they looked into rooms across the hall. Very noisy hotel, you could hear everything! Bed had a dip in the middle that my husband and I kept rolling into. They had oiled the woods in the room that got all over you and your stuff, didn't smell very good....

Located 2 blocks from Plaza de Armas, this lovely hotel in an ancient colonial house offers beautiful and cozy rooms with all the necessary amenities (great beds, modern bathrooms), and a nice buffet breakfast in their covered patio with a fireplace. Staff was really friendly and helpful, as is usually the norm in Peru. Be aware that there is a...

We stayed at Tierra Viva Cusco Plaza before and after hiking the Inca Trail. The service was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, if not overly large. (The two we stayed in each had lift sitting areas which were cute but not terribly useful.) Breakfast is par for the course. The hotel is indeed located very near Plazas...

Highly recommend this hotel - affordable, basically in the plaza (a thirty second walk - not even - from the main plaza), and incredible service. For two females traveling alone before and after hiking Machu Picchu, this was extremely safe and accommodating. Hotel car picked us up from airport at no additional cost, breakfast is served from 5am-10am which is...

This hotel is within easy walking distance of the center of it all--sites, restaurants, shopping. The staff were super friendly and helpful. And we were able to change currency at the front desk for a decent rate (instead of the usual gouging at hotels). Although laundry service is not offered, we walked about 100 feet uphill to a laundry service...

This hotel is in a great location however there are some night clubs in the area that go until 4 or 5 in the morning. The staff is very nice and have oxygen and coca tea to help you adjust to the altitude. The air is really thin and you will be huffing and puffing. There are lots of small...

We loved our experience here. We were back and forth to this hotel for 12 days and they kept our luggage for us. Staff was excellent and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was nice with difference choices. The only thing we were not happy with was the rooms on the ground floor. We were in 2 of them and...

Centrally located, half a block from the main square. Very nice and helpful staff. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and it is a very good one. The first day we didn't´t feel well and the hotel has oxygen for cases like ours, it was great!

Originally stayed for 2 nights but had to extend it for another 2 nights here because wife had a bad case of altitude sickness compounded by bad food she ate in the city. Almost perfect. I would give it a 4.5/5. The hotel is in a great location near the Plaza de Armas but for some reason no one knew where it was exactly including local police officers patrolling in the area. Eventually found it since the cops were at least able to point is to the street when we showed them the...
