I stayed in one room which was cold and minimal. When I returned from MP they gave me a much better room in front with a window looking out on the street and it was warmer. I would have liked to have this room for my entire stay. The staff is friendly and the location right off the main square....

Bottom line - I loved Cusco...the people, the history, the vibe...there was so much happening there. The Maytaq was a perfect hotel close to everything in Cusco. The rooms were a perfect size (not too small as the rooms we had in Lima). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The café next door served a substantial "continental" breakfast and...

This charming little hotel just streets away from the main square boasts all the little extras required for a fulfilling stay. From the Coca tea and leaves on the landings (helpful for altitude sickness) to the beautifully secluded roof terrace with added ponchos for warmth. There is a weekly Cusco funk singer who is a cool diva and who plays...

This is classed as a four star hotel in Peru but I would say it's a high quality three star accomodation. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with free wi fi and fresh filtered drinking water available for guests. With hot showers and plenty of fresh towels, efficient and reasonably priced laundry services, the location of this hotel and...

Beautiful hotel set in the heart of Cusco, a 2 min walk from the main square of Plaza de Armas. Lots of great restaurants close by and the hotel restaurant isn't half bad either and very reasonably priced. Rooms are spacious and clean. Unfortunately the water temperature was erratic, sometimes very hot but runs out quickly. A 30min wait normally...

As other have done I stayed here before and after the Machu PIcchu trail trek. The hotel is superbly located just a couple of minutes from Cusco's main square. Staff were excellent remembering names and room numbers and they were willing to help with luggage - there is no lift. Breakfast was good - with only 24 rooms it is...

June 2015 We stayed at the Maytaq for a total of 6 nights in two spells as part of our trip on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and we could not have been more pleased. It is situated just minutes from Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral, an ideal position for the sights and sounds of Cusco. The hotel...

We stayed in the Maytaq Wasin Hotel in June. Unfortunately my wife was sick but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Reception, housekeeping and the restaurant staff all first class. The hotel is located in a good position, only two minutes walk from the city square.

The hotel was nice and clean, stopped here on the way to and from Machu Picchu so saw two different rooms. The restaurant and room service was very good and not over the top prices, there was always fresh drinking water in reception along with tea through the day. The staff were friendly and very helpful and even made an...

Heating doesn’t come on until 7pm sometimes we were cold – We went in April. The only negative point about this hotel was the bathroom. Horrible grey concrete tiles and not very...
