Couldn't complain about anything at this hotel except that the street where it's located is so loud! Right next to a train track, and the people in this neighborhood seemed to be up at all hours of the night so it was hard to get good sleep.

However, very good value with a very accommodating staff who helped us flag down taxis, get change, picked us up from the airport, etc. They woke up with us at 4am when we were to be picked up by our trekking company, and also got coca tea for us whenever we needed!

You can walk to the Plaza de Armas from here, but I would suggest getting a taxi to go there as it's uphill. If you want to have a walk, it's better to go downhill from the Plaza back to the hotel.

We stayed there for 2 nights and left for the inka trail. David was super accommodating and kept some of our stuff there. We came back for a third night after the trail. The rooms were clean and tidy. Great adorable option 6 minutes from the center with a taxi.

Couldn't have been made more welcome here - a fantastic base for exploring Cusco and Macchu Picchu.

Breakfast was excellent and the shower was the best we enjoyed in Peru - modern rooms well furnished. They were also able to provide an airport shuttle service which was most appreciated.

Would highly recommend.

When I arrived early in the morning, I had to wait outside in the dark for almost 30 minutes before someone let me in because they apparently do not have night staff.

Then I had to wait another hour before someone could check me in (for an extra fee).

The hotel manager seemed annoyed with me, and told me he had tried calling and texted me to let me know the reception would not be staffed 24 hours (why he didn't email, which he also had, as my reservation stated I'm American so pretty obviously I wouldn't have cell phone service, I don't know). Because of this, it's really not recommended to arrive late at night (even the days after you've checked in), as you will be locked out and have to ring the bell and wait for a member of the staff to open it... sometimes for quite a while. And it's not the best neighborhood to be standing on the street in the dark.

Aside from being a 30+ minute walk into the center of town, the rooms are VERY VERY cold. There's no heating, no heaters, and I had to wear my gloves, my hat, and thick woolen socks the entire time I stayed there (even while sleeping). The hot water rarely works, and even so, getting out of the shower in the freezing cold is painful.

My room was pretty dirty (though I did check in early) and the bedspread had fresh-looking blood stains on it. There was a lot of dust and hair in the room as well.

My room also had a large open space above the door into the hallway (about two feet by one feet), because of this I was constantly awoken by anyone in the hallway, and a cold breeze would come in.

The address is very strange, and no one could find it (not even taxi drivers), and it isn't recognized on Uber (even if you type in the address).

That being said, the staff are quite nice and try to be as helpful as possible. No one speaks English so it is not advised if you don't have any Spanish.

There are better, more central locations at better prices. This could be a good hotel but management needs to make some major improvements in service and in comfort for guests.

Honest hotel to spend the night, at a good price. The rooms are a good size. It is outside the historic center of Cusco, but close by car. Helpful attendants and ready to help with whatever is necessary. Only the breakfast left something to be desired.

Terrible service, we asked for a double room and they gave us one with two beds, a double bed and a square bed and a half. They didn't give us towels, soap or shampoo. We had to request towels and they told us that they did not provide soap or shampoo. In the room there was a Hyundai television and its voice assistant "turning up the volume" was extremely annoying, it even read the description of the movie on Netflix. The next day, at 10 a.m. There were many guests who were left without breakfast. Nowhere do they indicate the time for breakfast, either verbally or in writing. And if you got up early for breakfast this is super basic. I honestly do not recommend this place for anyone looking for good memories in Cusco.
