Was here in off season. I think there was only me and one other person staying here. The desk people were kind and helpful. The morning food was typical for all the places I have stayed in Peru. I went to Machupicchu for one night and then came back. They let me leave my big suitcase here. Great water pressure and warmth.
Very convenient location. I walked from the train/bus station. Took about 4 minutes. Taxi ride from airport took about 12 minutes.
Be ready for the altitude. It is two miles high here and can be a real challenge. When I arrived the had a cup of tea and some cocoa leaves and insisted I sit for a few hours and acclimate. I still had tough night the first night.

This is a small hotel with friendly staff. Right when we walk in, they gave us each some coco tea, which helps suppress the symptoms of altitude sickness, not to mention it was also freezing cold outside. Good first impression, check.

The staff consisted of a small group, but was more than enough. Dont expect too much english though, they speak just enough to get by.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and there was CONSISTENT hot water for showers. Thats going to be a good thing if you're not looking to stay somewhere expensive.

The location was also very good, 5-10 min walk to the plaza de armas, with lots of restaurants and places to visit.

Friendly staff, very quiet hotel, away from the noisy Cusco historic center. Staff was helpfull and stored some of our luggage when we went to Macchu Picchu.
Good hotel, but we would recommend something in the historic center.
The not so good part is the location, 20 minutes walk from Plaza de Armas, further than we were expecting.
The heating system was not working (the hotel was empty so the heating was turned off, and the hotel gave us a small oil heater).
The photos of the hotel are also a bit misleading.

We booked this hotel for 4 nights for a business meeting for three travelers. The hotel is next to a very busy and loud street. The rooms are furnished with old and damaged furniture. The rooms are not clean. When I tried to close the window, the entire window including frame fell at me and I had to position it back in the wall. The heater did not work. The hallways, lobby, eating area, and rooms are dark and musty. Breakfast is very meager. The coffee tastes horrible. When I asked for an iron I did not get any. As a female traveler, I felt unsafe. You cannot expect any service from staff. We moved out after one night into a different hotel. Beware of this hotel!

We regret any comment away from reality. The hotel is located in an area that is not noisy. The furniture of the rooms is modern, as the hotel came into operation in 2010, with annual maintenance and when necessary. The heaters are always good. The hotel is well lit inside and out. The breakfast buffette, consists of multiple options between: Fresh coffee made every morning, milk, various infusions and hot water. Toast and bread from the city. Ham, cheese, butter, fruit salad, yogurts and juices to choose from. In addition, our users can order fried, scrambled or washed-out eggs. It is impossible that a window and the frame could have fallen on him, as I repeat the infrastructure is new and have continuous maintenance, in any possibility of happening, we never received any notification about a similar inconvenience, nor did we have broken windows.

If you are looking to stay in a five star resort pretending like you are still in the USA this is not the place for you. If you are looking for an authentic experience living in another country this is your place. The staff is wonderful and satisfied my every need. Breakfast is delicious and free. The rooms were clean . The Hotel is cozy and it is within walking distance to the Plaza de Armas. Its safe, Its always locked there is always someone there to open the door for you. Overall an amazing experience staying there. I will definitely stay there when I travel to Cuzco once again.

We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and when we went to Machu Picchu the staff stored all our things and nothing ever got lost. The staff was always smiling and eager to help us with anything their recommendations were also on point.

The breakfast is the greatest we ever had, very rich and fresh. If we woke up late the staff would leave personalized breakfast for us even if we were the only customers left in the hotel.

The rooms are squeaking clean and spacious. Having been in hotels like Sheraton, Hilton, Marriott, four seasons , etc I really don't have any complaints for this hotel taking in mind this is a three star hotel.

Very well located, away from the crowds, yet very close to the center. Lovely hotel, held by very welcoming lady and her husband. I particularly appreciated her warm welcome after a long trip by myself.
The room was very spacious and very clean.
The breakfast was good, and the staff very kind (though only few of them spoke English).
Good value for money, topped with warmth.

I had a pleasant stay. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. It is close to the main plaza , Plaza de Armas and all the local sites. I like hotels where local Peruvian tourists stay as it speaks well for their local reputation. It has been open for 3 years and unlike some places the owner is there every day, making sure we were taken care of.

"We travelled during low season so we had a small heater to help with the cold. It worked fine for us (not like some other reviewers). Just turn it on when you get in the room and it'll heat up in no time. We actually found it got too hot at times and had to turn it off! We tried placing our bath towels in front of it to try heat it up so it wasnt so cold when you get out the shower... it was ok."
