Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There is definitely promise and if the hotel management heeds some of the advice from this review, I could definitely see us giving the hotel 5 stars next time
Check-in: This is the first time I have stayed at a mid-range or higher hotel over the course of traveling for over 20 years and at check-in they say they need to charge 5% extra for using a credit card. Not too many people carry the cash around to pay for their hotel rooms, especially when renting two rooms for four nights, and by far the majority of hotels absorb these fees as a convenience to their customers to secure payment (and hotel guests normally have larger bills than other places of business). At the time of the reservation, this fee was not mentioned, but it looks like this fee is now being made clear on Expedia.
The rooms are clean and modern looking and the beds are comfortable and warm, but they definitely cut some corners. There were several safety issues with sharp screws exposed in the bathrooms. The paint is already peeling in the bathrooms which indicates they did not use a proper paint. The table attached to the wall feels like it could break off with any weight more than ten pounds applied to it. They used a piece of cut thin black fabric as a bed scarf in the rooms which may look okay in photos but looks cheap. Some bathroom windows can be seen through from the outside and need blinds.
Breakfast area is very nice with a beautiful view of Cusco, and it was good with eggs cooked to order.

New hotel that is not boutique but good value for money. Best water preasure than in all the hotels we stayed in Perú. The bathroom smelled nothing, you may find it absurd, but we stayed in other new boutique hotels and their bathrooms stunk.
Location is very good.
Credit card payment has a surcharge as in many other hotels, bring cash.
They have electric heaters and blankets if you need additional ones.

We really love this hotel. We have a big room, it is clean, nice hot shower (with good pressure) and the breakfast is simple but fine! A really good place to relax. I don't get it why some of the reviews are negative. The hotel employees don't speak good English, so they don't talk much, but they try their best to be helpfull. Our best stay so far in Peru.

Amazing hotel with really helpful staff. Very clean and sheets and towels changed daily. Great customer service from the start to the end. Would definitely recommend! Have booked another two nights here because we enjoyed it so much!

Terrible!
It was truly a nightmare staying here! starting with a staff (who refused to provide his name) and all the customer service is beyond terrible.
There are plenty hotels around the area which provide sincere and amazing service, so please do yourself a favor and don’t ruin your holidays staying here :)))

This hotel opened in April 19. Everything is brand new, décor is very tasteful and location excellent (10 mins walk to main square). Rooms are bright, beds are comfy and bathrooms have good hot showers. Wi-fi is free, fast and reliable.

There is a small lobby with free luggage storage on the ground floor, and good-sized bedrooms on next 3 floors. There is no lift, but bags are carried to your room without having to ask. There is a small courtyard with seating on the second floor, and an enclosed dining room/bar located on the roof with fantastic views from its panoramic windows. The breakfast buffet (included) is large, varied and good quality. There is coca tea always available in reception, to help you adjust to Cusco's altitude.

We stayed here for a total of 6 nights in May 19; first a stay of 4, then 1 night away while we visited Machu Picchu (leaving most of our luggage at the hotel), followed by a further 2 nights.

The hotel is owned and run by a super friendly and very professional family. Nothing is too much trouble. On our final evening, our group of 10 were all invited to join them and their wider family at a party to celebrate the grandfather's birthday and the hotel opening.

This hotel is highly recommended. If you want somewhere to stay that is welcoming, safe and secure, convenient to all the sites, and offering a superb stay at good value prices - look no further. It is a true Cusco gem.
