This hotel is incredible! It was amazingly decorated and the bed was the best thing I have ever slept on! The hotel is well located, close to sights, restaurants etc. The breakfast in the morning is also to die for. I would recommended anyone to stay her for an unforgettable holiday!

Loved this boutique hotel, The decor is not for stuffy boring travellers. The service was excellent and I shall be recomending this hotel to everyone. The food was the best I had tasted in all of Peru.

The hotel is tastefully quirky and beautifully eclectic, each room a unique pleasure. My husband and I and our 18 year old niece stayed here for 3 nights, checked out and moved across the street to The Monastario...which was a mistake - The Fallen Angel made The Monastario seem boring and over-priced. We had a marvelous stay at this hotel and wished we could have stayed longer.
The hotel's restaurant is outstanding. The breakfasts, which were delivered to our rooms, were Peruvian perfect.
If there's any one thing that makes this hotel superb, it's the staff. During our stay, I went shopping and somewhere along the way, I lost my iPhone, credit cards and ID, Carlos did everything he could possibly do technologically to help find my phone. Alex spent hours with me, backtracking thru the markets and finally helping me fill out a report at the police station. These gentlemen went way above and beyond guest helpfulness...they made me feel like family. I'm certain that if you make the wise choice to stay with them , they'll make you feel the same. The Fallen Angel SHOULD be ranked among the top 5 in Cusco.

...this really isn't a hotel, rather it's a restaurant that happens to have some rooms for rent upstairs. I wanted to take a chance and based on the other reviews I thought it really couldn't be that bad, so went ahead and booked it when I saw a discounted rate on a travel booking site. I was disappointed, a little freaked out and didn't feel 100% safe in the room.

The decor is more than just funky and eclectic... it's weird. I freely admit I am a slightly high-maintenance and like nice things and appreciate a clean, comfortable hotel room. I did not feel I got that there.

The room was huge - with a full dining table, sitting area and the bed was lofted. The shower was literally in the middle of the room so there was little privacy. It smelled odd too. The restaurant was very busy (i.e. very loud) and you walk through all the tables of diners to get upstairs. We had trouble with the tv and a waiter came up to try and figure it out.

If I had not prepaid for the room, we would have walked a block down the street to stay at another hotel.

I do not want to impact this business's success, but I think travelers should know what you're getting in to. If I had seen a review like this one I know I wouldn't have picked it and would have been so much happier.

I have visited the Fallen Angel on many occassions over many years, and it never fails to deliver, this chic venue, would compete easily with boutique establishments the world over.

On my last visit last week, the steaks were awesome and the cocktails were strong, my 40 ( yes forty) strong group loved the venue and a very good time was had by all.. thank you as ever Fallen Angel .. till next year!!

i've travelled extensively and make a point to seek out the unique and boutique hotel experience and this has to be the epitome of that... quirky yet luxurious, fun yet tranquil and the best service i've ever experienced... and there was great music all the time... Claudia the manager was a font of information and she ensured restaurant reservations were made for me or to get a table even when there weren't any... everyone was very friendly and helpful... got back to the room with the fireplace turned on, complimentary treats in the room, and a complimentary massage was arranged after my trip to macchu pichu... free incredible breakfast each morning and on the morning that i had to go to macchu pichu really early, a gourmet lunch was packed and ready for me...

i cannot say enough that this was definite highlight of my trip... awesome service, large eclectic rooms with amazing tubs, the most comforable sleep inducing beds, pickup and drop off service, amazing food at the restaurant, fun atmosphere at the bar at night, art everywhere...

if you are into off the beaten track hotels - STAY HERE.

The Fallen Angel restaurant have recently added 4 guestrooms. They are amazing! Each one has been decorated and fitted-out to a very high standard. You need to look at their website to see what I mean. It's also in a fantastic location. The rooms are huge and are good value with lots of little extras. One even has its own gym. If you like to stay somewhere different this is the place for you.

Unique, charming, huge rooms, central to the historic district. Excellent staff. Fabulous breakfast, can be delivered and set up in your room. I would stay again without question. Very fun. It’s small, only 4 rooms, each very different. I stayed in the yellow room, it is the only one with balcony overlooking square, the bed is upstairs in loft. My friend stayed in passion, the red room, all one level.

This 'hotel' is primarily a restaurant/bar that has around five rooms. I stayed for two nights in the Junior Suite and two nights in a double room. The Junior suite was huge, having an open Kitchen/large lounge area and the bed on a higher floor. The bed was large and really comfortable. Hotel staff are a small, friendly team, always on hand to help. The entire hotel and rooms are an art gallery, which is what makes this hotel so quirky and interesting. Every part of the hotel and guest rooms are full of paintings and sculptures. When I checked in to the double room I thought that it would be a lot smaller than the Junior Suite but it was still very large for a double room, having a lounge/dining area, large bathroom and bed on seperate level. There was even a full size rocking horse in the bathroom!
The rooms are directly above the bar/restaurant area. The bar has music playing quite loudly until around 10pm most evenings, so bear that in mind if you are planning on having an early night but it wasn't too bad. The hotel is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk from the main square.
If you're looking to splash out on a hotel room that's a bit different and unusual then definately stay at the Fallen Angel.
