My husband and I have recently returned from a trip to Peru. During our time here, we had a 3 night stay at Abittare - 1 night, followed by 2 nights.

Location : The location of the hotel is excellent. It is located directly across from the main cathedral and other historical sites. It is within easy walking distance to the square and many restaurants and shops.

Accommodation : Our accommodation was located on the top floor. We were in Room 202 and it had a large bedroom area, as well as a separate sitting area down a couple of stairs. The bathroom was modern with excellent amenities. Our room faced onto the cathedral and at first I thought it may have been noisey, but it wasn’t. The window had wooden shutters that you could close over. One thing that I really did like in the room was the heater. It was a nice touch in the evening when it was cooler.

Food and Staff : Breakfast was excellent and you did not want for anything. There was an ample selection to choose from. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and assisted us with our luggage up the stairs. We were also allowed to leave our main luggage at the hotel while we visited The Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.

Pricing : The hotel is great value for what you get - accommodation and location and I don’t believe it can be beat.

Overall, the hotel exceeded our exceptions and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others who are looking for quality accommodation in Cusco at a reasonable price.

I would highly RECOMMEND that you look at their website and the video clip that they have. It is excellent and gives you a good overview of the hotel and the area.

Regards,
Cherie

What a perfect stay in Cusco! We had the pleasure of spending two nights in the Signature Suite before our trip to Machu Picchu and another two nights after our visit to MP. We were two adults with our children, aged 9and 11. The staff were incredibly professional, prompt, generous, resourceful, and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. The rooms were clean, spacious, quiet and the washroom was very modern and had great bath products for guests to use. The hotel is full of fresh flowers and a lovely courtyard to relax, during the day or in the evening when they light the fire. Laundry service was wonderful since we could drop off in the morning and have our fresh folded clothes by evening. The hotel is perfectly located and a real gem!

We really enjoyed our stay, 5 nights, at Hotel Abitarre. We were able to check into our room early, and our room was very comfortable and clean. It is in an excellent location for exploring Cusco, and all of the staff that we interacted with were always very helpful and pleasant. When we asked about finding a tour to go to Machu Picchu, the manager was extremely helpful about getting us in touch with a tour that was just what we wanted. We enjoyed the breakfasts which had a nice variety of fruit, cheese, meats, eggs, vegetables, bread, etc. Some reviews have mentioned noise at night or early in the morning, but we were not bothered by any noise. However, the hotel does provide ear plugs. We were also able to stow our luggage after we checked out while we waited for our flight later that day. We would be happy to stay here again.

We loved the experience of staying at this beautiful hotel, with its colonial style and beautifully decorated rooms, also in colonial style with beautiful wood and stone decoration. It is also perfectly located in front of the Santo Domingo church and with plenty of stores and restaurants in the same street. But the best thing this hotel has is the staff. They are extremely service oriented, caring and nice. I came in with a broken foot and they went overboard making sure I was ok from giving as a easily accessible room to bringing breakfast to my room. Thanks to all the staff for this amazing experience

The hotel is next to Palacio del Inka, A Luxury collection hotel ( great bar with happy hour) and across the street from a famous convento. The Abitare was clean and remodeled with rooms surrounding a courtyard. They offered a nice breakfast with fruits and yogurts, juices, cereal, eggs to order, breads, etc.

With the rooms surrounding a courtyard, it can be noisy. Doors closing, housecleaning and people talking early mornings or late evenings could be an annoyance to some. Also, the walls between rooms seem “thin” as you can hear full conversation without the person talking very loudly. The windows offer shudders to make it very dark and great for sleeping. During the day guests tend to keep the shudders closed otherwise you can see in the rooms and therefore no privacy. In my opinion white sheer curtains would help with that. After a long day walking /sightseeing I was eager to return to my room to watch some TV. With all the channels offered, NONE are in English. Not even CNN.

The location is perfect, stuff is very helpful, breakfast is reasonably good (no toaster and bread if you are looking for one) and the shower is good. If you are a history buff, you may feel excited that the hotel is located on the top Inka king’s birthplace.

The rooms are too small to accommodate two persons, two checked and two carry on luggages. The room heating system is primitive, the dinning room at the top floor (not an easy proposition in the first day at 11,000 ft) has no heating and very cold in the mornings. The hotel noise level is high, the rooms have single window opening to the corridors calls for keeping the window mostly closed, no drinking water bottle in the room (buy from the counter before checking in if you need) and only one tissue roll in the room.

We just completed our stay at Abittare and absolutely loved it. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the courtyard is picturesque. However, the staff is what made our stay so special. Edgar gave us suggestions every day on what to visit, the owner was there sharing personal stories about her time in Cusco. We had so many special experiences based on their suggestions that completely changed our trip for the better!

The daily breakfast was delicious! The woman cooking welcomed us every morning and offered to make special eggs just for us. By the end of our stay, we felt like we were leaving family, and I truly hope to return one day. The location was perfect for my parents who were older and tired easily from walking in the altitude. The service was top notch, and would recommend this to anyone staying in Cusco. We love Abittare!!

Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is near all amenities. All indoor and outdoor areas area spotlessly clean. Breakfast is varied and beveridges are available throughout the day to purchase. Outdoor heaters and blankets are provided for when the weather is chilly. Equally all rooms have a heater.

The hotel rooms were fine but the hotel totally lacks personality. There should be a common area for guests to enjoy in any weather and a bar would be a nice addition. No windows open to the outside for fresh air and sound travels easily in the hotel

Thank you so much for take time to write a review. Our concept is very simple: Super clean rooms, great bedding, nice breakfast buffet and kind staff, everything else is outside at a walking distance from the hotel. We serve beer in the main patio but perhaps we could add some other beverages. Will thing about it.

We enjoyed our stay at Abittare. The staff if super friendly and the location is super for walking to all of the top tourist sights. The room did get cold at night so we appreciated having our own mini heater in the room.

The only real downside was the noise. The rooms overlook a courtyard so you can hear pretty much everything. Even when people aren’t being loud, you can still hear their conversations and room doors opening and closing, so it can be hard to sleep if you’re sensitive to noise.

Although I have no idea in particular, there are many shops in Agua Caliente that I’m sure will be able to help, we certainly noticed that Peruvians are well coiffed and my son did get an awesome haircut and it was about $5 Canadian

Boa tarde. Como vi que só tem tua avaliação, resolvi pedir uma dica. Quanto a localização e quartos, você indica bem este hotel?
