We were hardly ever there as we were always out on excursions but when we were we felt very welcomed. This is a fairly new Hotel new enough that our tour guide had to look it up. We told him we were very pleased with our stay. We left on excursions at four and five o clock in the morning and both times they had lunches prepared for us. Their guide service I believe it is also family owned and well operated. We used there guide to go to Rainbow Mountain and they were awesome !

This would be a deal at twice the price.

The rooms are clean, the mattresses are firm, the pillows and blankets are non-allergenic.

The location is about 10 minutes away from Centro, and it is easy to get a cab for 7 soles (2 bucks US).

The owner, Victor, is so kind and friendly, he brings the best kind of experience to a bed and breakfast. Breakfast is amazing and they are happy to customize to needs and preferences. Victor and the team are kind and helpful and make it feel like you are staying at the inn of an uncle or cousin.

Victor has connections for all tour packages, and they will come to the hotel and can help you get your Machu Pichu ticket even if you did not make a reservation like me.

The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the airport in a clean new van. They make you feel like a high priority guest even though all us are here to do the same adventure tours.

The neighborhood is pretty normal and has a laundry, restaurants, and therapeutic massage nearby.

Highly recommended.

The service at this hotel is second to none. From the moment you walk through the door you are made to feel like family. Victor the owner goes out his way for you. The rooms are big and spacious, furniture is great and good size bathroom. The most caring and kind hotel I have ever stayed in. Please book here for your trip in Cusco- you won’t regret it. I did a South America trip in Peru and Bolivia and this hotel was a highlight. Thank you Victor and his team for your amazing hospitality and for looking after everyone!

We went on the 4 days Inca trial trip before staying at this B&B, the owner Victor offers to store our luggages for free. When we arrived, Victor greeted us and brought us to our individual rooms. Since we have an early flight the next day, Victor have all our breakfast ready at 6am and make sure we have enough food. The owner and staff are extremely caring and friendly. They showed us the real Cusco hospitality!

Location made us feel very safe.
Greeted warmly! Felt like family. Had a long travel day. They immediately had our room available. Offered us cocoa tea, very aware that for some guest altitude could be a problem.
They can definitely help you with tours. Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, etc. You will be very happy.
Hotel very clean. Room was very clean, looks newly remodeled. Breakfast was simple and good to start your day. Breakfast is over at 10am. We had a couple of tours scheduled that required us to leave 4 to 5 am. They were sweet enough to have a care package that included fruit, crackers, drink.
We walked to the main plaza easily. It did take 20 minutes.
In the end when we were leaving they arranged transportation to the airport for us. At 5 am the taxi driver showed up and their was some kind of misunderstanding. The owner himself jumped into action and took us to the airport.
We did have an excellent experience and we would definitely stay there again. They took great care of us.

Victor, the host, is super accommodating and welcoming.

He let us drop off our luggage at 10pm before our Inca trail hike the next day and welcomed us to the hotel after we finished the hike. He went above and beyond with his hospitality. We felt so welcome and we loved the breakfast he made! Highly recommend.

Ureta Hotel is a hidden gem in Cusco, I wish I could give more stars. We initially chose this hotel based on cost and that they picked us up at the airport. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt like we were a part of their family. They served us a tea to help us adjust to the altitude and talked with us about the area and Machupicchu. The hotel is located a short walk from the main square with restaurants and shops. They serve breakfast, but our schedule did not allow us to eat there. Instead they packed us snack bags with cookies/crackers, fruit and water-which was perfect for us. They were very accommodating and helpful with anything we asked, especially since this was our first trip to the area. They are very receptive on WhatsApp +51 949 719 738.

The Ureta was a wonderful hotel. The family that runs it were really kind and helpful. On the days we left early for tours, they packed us breakfast.

They were very helpful with the coca tea and the effects of the elevation.

I would stay here again.

It's only a few blocks away from a main street that has shops, markets, cafés, and restaurants. Some restaurants have games that you can play while there. This area is more authentic. There are also pubs nearby.

It's about a 15 min cab or 30 min walk to the squares/Markets (Such as San Padro Market or San Fransico Square).

I always felt safe in this area day or night.

A clean, family-owned hotel that’s located 10 mins away from the airport. The owner, Victor, is the sweetest and most caring host! He really made us feel at home — Amazing breakfast early in the morning, helped us to get into the room, and let us store our luggages for 5 days when we went for Inca trail hike. Highly recommend Ureta if you want true Peruvian hospitality.

Nice small family-owned hotel. Owner Victor and his staff took great care of us, and encouraged us to call him if we needed anything during our stay at the hotel and for the duration of our time in Peru. Easy 20 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas, plentiful Ubers for transportation. Delicious breakfasts included.
