We were so pleasantly surprised to walk into this quiet, clean and beautiful hotel just off the main square of Plaza de Armas when we arrived in Cusco. The rooms are big and feel like more than just a hotel room, with a large very comfortable bed and a little sitting area with windows across the wall overlooking the city. The people who run the hotel are extremely warm and welcoming. As soon as we arrived they voluntarily helped us with our plans to tour the Sacred Valley and even advised us on the going rates for such tours. We feel so lucky to have found this gem and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Peru.

Excellent little hotel 10 mins away from the main square , extremely friendly staff , and awesome breakfast , we stayed in the back of the hotel over looking the garden and fruit trees , huge king bed and large room, as with alot of hotels in South America the plumbing is not the best but this is a minor issue , shower is huge with hot water all day. The location is a short walk away from Sacsaywoman and Christo Blanco via the trails/steps. Front of house Dalma was very helpful and went above and beyond for us.The hotel is a walk up hill but lets be honest people come here to hike so its quiet accessible and very safe at night.

We actually stayed here at both the beginning and end of our Machu Picchu travel. The location is near the central Plaça de Ames, so walking was easy apart from the uphill location, for some.
The staff was so accommodating and helpful throughout, including setting up taxi service, setting us up after a flight cancellation postponed our return home, and providing an excellent breakfast every morning.
It was a pleasure having Gold Garden as our go-to home away from home as we experienced the magnificent Andes!

This hotel is amazing! Take a 10-minute walk from this hotel, and you will find yourself within the historical Plaza de Armas. Price is below average and a good value for the money. Breakfast is great! Staffs are dedicated to their work. There is airport transportation for 30 soles from the airport and 25 soles from the hotel. Room is big, gorgeous, and colorful. If you value price and convenience, this might the best hotel for you!

Lovely little boutique hotel in Cusco. Set off the main area on a pretty cobbled street.
Very helpful staff nothing too much trouble.
Lovely room with nice sized bathroom.
Freshly cooked eggs, fresh fruit bowls fresh bread and jams for breakfast served in a lovely courtyard/conservatory area.
Just to say our room,in the main part of hotel backed onto this area. It does get noisy from 6 am as breakfast starts early so if you are a light sleeper you may get woken up.
Ask for a front room or one in the annex at the back.
Stayed here 3 nights in total and hotel kept our luggage as had a trip overnight in-between.
Would definitely recommend and would stay again if ever came back to Cusco.

Everything fantastic. From the one the taxi dropped me off, Dalna welcomes me from the door. Heating in the room was in, asked me time for breakfast which is very nice, from egg variation to pancakes. Dalna showed me true Peruvian hospitality from the heart. Waking up at 4.30 in the morning to calling my Machu Picchu your for details and when they were late to pick me up. Room is spacious, sparkling clean with 5* amenities, from slippers to toothbrush. Linen is great quality. Have felt safe and taken care of. They provide free taxi pick up from airport!

Absolutely a great place to stay in Cusco. Close to Plaza de Armas and Downtown. Since you arrive until you check out the staff make you feel at home. The rooms are very nice with a touch of Cusco. The breakfast is excellent. Fresh fruits, fresh squeezed juices, great coffee and eggs your way. Delicious. I felt so special there like in a movie. Juan, Dalia, Miguel, Maria and Anthony are great! This should be your option when visiting Cusco if you want an excellent experience at a great price.

Right in the center of Plaza de Armes lies this hidden gem. Cobble stonned streets leading to the hotel is quite, yet safe. The room was 5 star material. Very clean , beautifully decorated, and equipped with all toiletries that a traveler needed. Dalma is one of a kind, very friendly, helpful. She went out of her way to take care of me, from an amazing breakfast, waking me up, arranging cabs, or taking care of my luggage when I left it for my 4 day Inca hike. Recommend highly to anyone who is visiting Cusco.

Close to the Plaza de Armas, even if the street is steep. Big rooms and helpful staff, we didn’t had a chance to have the breakfast there but the area looked great. They are renovating some rooms, and only have the ones in the back. Good place.
