We spent one night in this hotel before meeting up with a travel group we were hiking with. I’ve had nothing but great things to say about this establishment since our initial connection. Corina at the front desk was prompt and reliable in communicating regarding car service from the airport, which was available for only 30 soles. The room was clean, quiet, and modern, with lovely towels and excellent water pressure. The breakfast was delightful in a naturally lit dining room with made to order meals and plentiful choices. I do not think there is an elevator so that is something to know if it is an issue for you; you have to go up one flight of stairs to get to the reception area and rooms. Coca tea was plentiful which was very handy at the altitude, and they stored our bags for us for a few hours on the last day so that we could go out and see the sights while waiting for our tour group pickup. Last but not least, you can’t beat the price! I highly recommend this hotel.

We absolutely loved the staff and the charm at Cooper Hotel.

They're accommodating, kind, clean, and friendly. Great walkable location as well.
They have a nice little tea bar and fresh water in the lobby 24 hours a day for visitors - good for those hiking or acclimating to the altitude. They have free breakfast which includes fresh pancakes, waffles and omelettes. Cooper also stored our luggage during out trek and had an airport pickup service for 10 per person which we utilized when arriving into Cusco.

ONLY negative i have to say is that there is a restaurant/club underneath this hotel/nearby that plays music until 3am! The first two nights we stayed at this hotel, we were on the second floor and heard thumping from music/bass until 3am. After our trek, we came back and they put us on the 3rd floor after requesting a quieter room and it was much better. They said they have filed complaints against the place but its currently out of their hands.

So only tip would be to ask for a quiet room if you prefer to sleep at night. :)
Otherwise - they're fantastic.

Great location, near the main square, walking distance to all the sites, clean, and comfortable. The daily breakfast was amazing - can't say enough good things about it! And we enjoyed the tea station in the lobby. Staff was helpful in arranging taxi transportation to the hotel (in advance) and for a day tour to Pisac (while staying at the hotel).
The room we stayed in was spacious, with a spacious bathroom. The room was located next to an internal stairwell. Although it had a window which opened to the stairwell, it was not an issue with noise (or privacy when using the curtains).
There was some noise each night due to the music in the restaurant below the hotel. But we were informed by hotel staff that the show finished at 9pm and that was the case for each night we were there - no issues at all in getting a good night's sleep!
We loved staying at the Cooper Hotel and I highly recommend it!

My fiancee and I went September 2022 after we completed the Inca Trail. It was a wonderful place to come after 4 days of hiking - hot water with good pressure, had soap/shampoo/conditioner and little welcome baskets you could purchase snacks/drinks/candy/nuts if you wanted. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. They always had hot tea and clean water available. It was impeccably clean and smelled wonderful. The breakfast is the best breakfast we had while in Peru. They were able to accommodate our needs for a early AM hike (provided us with a to-go breakfast at 3AM) and were able to hold our bags after check out as we had a late afternoon flight. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cusco, Peru :)

The hotel is super charming and the staff go above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay. There is always coca tea and other teas available at all times of the day in the lobby to help with the altitude. The breakfast is super delicious and comes with a really great view on the top floor. The staff is super helpful and helped up book a tour to Maras and Moray for one day. We stayed here before and after out Salkantay trek and they staff were helpful enough to let us store our luggage while we were on a 5 day trek for free and move it to the room when we got back from the trek.

Excellent location, close to three plazas and a large selection of restaurants. Pleasant quite room, large bathroom with hot water. Great breakfast in a sunny room. The desk staff is wonderful. Friendly advice about shopping, tours, etc. The lobby is on the second floor and access is by tall stairs going up from street level. Anyone with mobility issues would have a problem. Apart from that comment, I give this hotel a very strong recommendation.

We stayed here for two nights and loved the personal touches offered by the staff. After arriving very early on an overnight bus, the staff allowed us to check in early which was much appreciated. The room was spotless and comfy and the breakfast perfect. The location was convenient to everything we visited while in Cusco. The staff really went above and beyond and was always friendly and helpful. We also loved the tea station in the lobby with all the different teas to try. So delightful!

This is a nice hotel a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas. They have a comfortable lobby/front desk area to sit.

The room was loud, as it is on a busy street. We asked for a quieter room but the front desk person insisted we should try this one and we could move the next day. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t what we had expected.

Another issue for this hotel is that they have light curtains that let the light in. They are NOT blackout curtains. It gets bright around 5AM, so your room is completely bright at that time.

Overall it was a nice enough stay, but it is not a 5-star.

. We got back a day earlier than expected so we stayed one night at the Cooper Hotel. We went back and forth to Cusco so we ended up staying in 4 hotels in Cusco. All were great but our favorite was the Cooper. Helpful staff, clean and comfortable. Great Breakfast and it was included. Location is great. Shower was great. Bed was comfortable. We can’t say anything bad:)

We haven’t seen one, but they have tanks all over the city. The hotel reception is more than helpful, I’m sure that if you will contact them they will arrange one if needed.
