Great value. A bit noisier than hoped (thin walls and floors) but given the price I cannot complain. Great location, friendly staff (bring a translation app if you don’t speak Spanish) and charming place. The room has no heat but does have heavy bedding to keep you warm so in January was not a problem.

The room was very basic, and the bathrooms lacked ventilation and windows, so take flip flops as the floor gets very wet. Bed was comfortable, TV- didn't use as don't speak Spanish! As it is an old historic building, there are not many plugs to charge gadgets, pick up a cheap 4 way from a market.

Breakfast was a disaster. The waitress insisted that a one egg omelette was to share between two of us, bread was rock solid with no butter. Fruit smoothie offered but this was hot?! Perhaps this is a peruvian style. Remnants of fruit salad left over, all eaten by early risers. Very difficult to get staff to replenish buffet.

Wifi only avaliable in low level courtyard, not in rooms.

This place was a little find! Private rooms are expensive in Cusco, but we found this little place, in a great location in the san blas area, near lots of restaurants and a short walk to the plaza. We had the small room without heating but surprisingly didn't need it. The showers were hot, bed comfortable with lots of blankets. The breakfast is your usual Peruvian affair but with cereals and fruit and coffee and tea all day long. The staff were so helpful and were great when we were getting up in the early morning for treks, coming to get us from our room and helped us out a great deal with advice when we had problems with a tour company. Highly recommend!

Over the years I’ve been passing trough Cusco and staying in diferentes rooms I’ve come to find Andean Home as my favorite and the best option between location, staff and rooms. All of the rooms are very comfortable and with everything you need including a lot of blankets. It gets a little cold at night.

The hotel is very beautiful with nice decoration in the common areas. The breakfast is amazing and the staff is great, nice and warm!

There is no place like this in Cusco!

Please do not stay at this hostal.
I have had only problems with Andean Home, even before arriving.
1- I had schedule, through Andean Home, a pick ride from the airport upon my arrival, but they forgot to pick me up so there I was alone in a foreign country at 5 am.
2- My room had no window and a strong smell of humidity. Only one shoer tower, nothing for the hands or the floor.
3- Breakfast, is very (very) poor
4- They offer to wake me up because I was taking an early rise tour, but they forgot to call make the wake up call. I almost lost the tour that I had booked in advance
5- very noice place
