Truly wonderful experience. The owner/operator of this very small bed and breakfast has a very specific idea in mind about making a visit to Cusco about being in the heart of the historic district while having all the comforts and support of living in a home. The hotel is well named and well run...a perfect experience. I was very impressed...

We stayed in the upstairs room in the back. There was a bedroom, sitting area and bathroom. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Carlos (the owner) was available and extremely helpful and patient with all of our questions. He also made a delicious breakfast at the time we chose. We really liked Wiber, the driver and hired him two...

We stayed here for 3 nights prior to the Inca trail, and one night after. The rooms and hosts were excellent. The beds were comfortable, and the location is fantastic. Quiet and peaceful at night. Would strongly recommend.

The room,, the service, the silence and Carlos with his knowledge and generosity. I strongly advise anyone wanting to stay in Cusco to consider a Second Home. The hotel is on a street without cars and a close walk to Plaza San Blas and a pleasant walk to Plaza de Armas. Your are close to restaurants, museum and street life....

Second Home is extremely comfortable--comfortable beds, roomy accommodations, spotlessly clean and nice bathrooms. It is walking distance is almost anything that you might want to do in Cusco, including Sacsaywaman and the main square. Carlos is a wonderful host and he provided transportation to the airport. My friend and I each booked a separate room, but the rooms are very...

We stayed here for three nights after going to Machu Picchu, and it was spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. Our host, Carlos, couldn't do enough to make our stay at Second Home comfortable, and to assist with making our time in Cusco enjoyable. His recommendations for Cusco sights were perfect--we wished that we had consulted Carlos before selecting a local...

We stayed in the loft room at Second Home Cusco for four nights.  The room was clean and well-appointed.  Though it was very quiet outside at night, the floorboards inside our room creaked very loudly when we got out of bed to walk to the bathroom.  We overlooked this because it was part of the charm of the room. Carlos...

We stayed here for 2 days before going to Machu Picchu and again for 2 days after. This bracketed the Machu Picchu trip nicely and gave lots of time to explore Cusco. The owner has been in the business for several decades and it shows. The suites are recently renovated and very nice (we stayed in two different ones). Breakfast...

Not only are Carlos and his sweet dog, Toby, excellent hosts, the San Blas location and spacious apartment-like rooms were an ideal base for us during our stay in Cusco. San Blas is a more laid-back neighborhood on the hillside with great cafes and boutique shops. Just a short walk to the Plaza de Armas and removed from the crowds...

I'm glad i chose this b&b after reading the reviews. The owner, Carlos was accommodating & helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast esp the bread, fruit jams & fresh orange juice. My one regret: should have requested for more pillows bcoz i always woke up with a headache maybe bcoz of high altitude
