Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had originally booked at an adjacent property, which was shut down. Thankfully this hotel had availability and was also of great quality. The property is large, the rooms are appropriately sized. My only criticism of the room is the placement of some of the electrical outlets. Hot showers. Supportive beds, comfortable pillows. The breakfast included was a great arrangement of fruits and yogurt and cereal. The staff were thoughtful and able to pack us up a bagged meal for our early exclusion.
Special shout-out to Jeans, one of the conceirge / everything staff. He answered our many questions and requests despite the language barrier. Thank you so much for all the help, it was truly appreciated.
Luggage storage is also offered.

Stayed here with a group of travelers. It’s a nice and clean hotel with a good breakfast. Breakfast has coffee, teas, fruits, cheeses, bread and eggs. The staff were all very nice and accomodating. It’s a little further from the historic plaza than I thought but still very walkable. We had some early mornings and they even packed us little snack bags when we left before breakfast was served.

Near the Plaza de Los Armes and important sites, but not crazy expensive. Comfortable rooms, ok breakfast. When we left to go to Machu Picchu, hotel staff let us leave most of our luggage in the room, which they moved to storage while awaiting our return--and luggage in the new room when we returned. Couldn't ask for better service or friendlier people.

I was here as part of a tour and this is a decent hotel very close to the main square of Cusco. There's no elevator, but the Wifi is okay and the rooms are clean. There's good facilities and breakfast. A good choice for Cusco.

Comfortable hotel and friendly staff. Stayed here for my Contiki trip and it was in a really good location in Cuzco. Staff was helpful in storing the luggage for a few hours while we were walking around.

Rooms at the back are quieter. Ask about how the heater functions as it does get cold in the rooms. As almost everywhere on the Inca trail and lake Titicaca a warm pyjama and socks are required. I used my winter underwear. Warm water is always available to make herbal and regular tea. The personnel is fluent in English and a little in French and do help.

During our 3-week trip in Peru we’ve had the pleasure of staying several nights in this very comfortable hotel. The service was really great even though we’ve had several multi-day trips in between. The rooms are very comfortable, but light sleepers best ask for a room not in the front of the hotel. The breakfast is great.

We can not say enough about the wonderful staff at Mamasara. Javier and Alan at reception were incredibly helpful and kind. Yunir and Mariso fulfilled our every need. The rooms were very clean and the location is perfect for visiting the historic center of Cusco. The sitting areas and dining room are inviting and a great respite from travel. They stored our luggage during our various treks which made the transitions much easier than I had imagined. Highly recommend staying here.

While not located right by central square (which is a good thing), you only have to walk 800 meters to get to the center. The hotel is located next to Don Bosco road which is the road that leads you to Pisac, Ollantaytambo etc. That will save you transportation time for i.e. one-day trips. Only downside of the hotel is the lack of sound proofing. Bring earplugs for a good nights sleep:)

This hotel provided us exactly what we needed during our stay in Cusco. It felt safe staying there. Only a short walk to the main square, restaurants and markets. Complimentary breakfast was better than average and we enjoyed this every morning. Not a wildly fancy hotel but it had good beds, working toilets and showers, hair dryer, was clean and had polite and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family member.

It is a 7-10 minute walk from the main square, otherwise there are restaurants and a few shops on the street on the way to the square.
